What happened to the " Debate Forum " ?

I was looking through the Debate Forum and noticed the last post has been over 2 years almost. I am an avid believer in the need for debate's. Controlled, structured , educated, well thought out debate's. Like those of the past on A.T.S were. Debate's are a great way of looking for Truth. Instead of only hearing one side of a particular viewpoint you get to see it built up an broke down at the same time.

Does anyone know why they just all of a sudden came to a stop ? Am I just over looking something? Also the " Research Forum " has been inactive for a long time. Another forum I think that would be great. It does seem like that one never really got going good in the first place.

Does anyone else agree it would be nice to have both these forum's active and up and going again ?

Well...if there isnt much interest as it seems...after much debate...no one replied...in a loooong time. Some things just die a slow death and stick around forever as zombies...

But to be fair, I'd like to know too about their dormancy....

A few months ago I was nosing around the Research forum hoping to find a team of two or three to further discuss or research something I came across. Noticed it had gone dormant so I went on my way.

How can we go about getting this back? We cant be the only only one's interested . I would love to participate in a research project. I don't think I'm as talented as some of the others on here as far as a debate platform goes. Still love watching two intelligent , well educated individuals going at it on the subject at hand. I feel there's alot to be learned this way.
