Economist Cover 2017 - Let the Games Begin!

Hey, hey, hey! It's that time again ... supposedly, this will be the new Economist cover for 2017. It's been leaked? So take this with a grain of salt. It may end up being something else.

However, since this one is a faux tarot spread, and we all know how much fun and symbolism we can find in the tarot as well as how much fun there is in the predictive programming. I thought I would pop this up anyhow along with a video.



Here's one where some of the meanings of the real cards are compared to the mocked up versions on the cover. Do you see some connections?

And for my own part, I notice that the only cards not in perfect rows and alignment are the Judgment and Star cards. Someone might have fun blowing up the Star to see if we can tell what portraits are on the stars.

Pretty interesting. The Flags on Wheel of Fortune are France, Luxembourg and Germany and their leaders. I think I can make out Bowie and Prince's faces on the Star card.
