The photos I put here are not ones I have said I belive are "real" miraculous photos. I should not have put the word 'real" in the title, my mistake. They caught my attention when I saw them for the first time, and it interested me if they were real or caused by some otter source, as the camera, lights, but they were not put here so I could be ridiculed, but for the curiosity of you people who have looked at them , and then to come to your own conclusions about them..and you have. By the way that is great as everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is how I learn many things, from many peole with different opinions.
The photo with the woman and the marks on her hands is very scary, and I am trying to understand what would have caused that, or, is/was that a hoax?

I've ran some of them through Photoshop and it looks as if many are optical illusions, lens flares and natural light. The stigmata one is interesting, since it is a recognised psychic phenomena. I believe that stigmata may well due to intense emotions and a desire to suffer in the manner of Christ. This causes a psychosomatic reaction and the body experiences wounds similar to those of Christ himself.
Stigmata

I have also read of blood appearing on the eucharist wafer in certain Catholic churches. I believe that is due to the fact that they believe in transubstantiation (That the bread and wine are not just symbolic of Christ, but actually become his flesh and blood).

Yes but the example shown is heavily posed and looks like a hoax to me. If I painted wounds on myself and took a pic it wouldn't make them real.
There have been hoaxes confirmed where people have self inflicted wounds to try prove they'r 'special'/holy.. there is no reason to assume these are supernatural.

Or it's faked as well.

I'm afraid that I must agree with the above posters.

Have any of these "apparitions" been investigated by the church? Do you have links to show they have been approved apparitions?

I don't think you have, so I believe this is an intended hoax.

By the latest post of yours you correct the impression that I had received that you were saying that these were "real" pictures. Perhaps you also were a victim of the hoax.

interesting posts. Is it possible that the photo's could be picking up natural lighting? Sort of like rainbows appear under certain conditions.

This is obviously a mirror or through observation glass shot look at the glassy appearance of the foreground and the male subject has a contemporary hair and beard style more common to a person of this day and age , the furniture is some what baffleing it is era 1970;s grandma with plastic over everything nothing interesting here, ooooohhhhh and by the way the camera flash is using xenon bulb commonly know to cause images refelction because more spectra of light are controlled providing a cleaner flash more capable of bringing out reflections with out that white out effect.

In fact you are looking at a picture of a picture of the subject observing a restored and conserved room , that more than likely is part of a history exibit the person is looking in through the glass observing this room and the person next to then snaps a pick bingo instant ghost in the picture , if you look at the side of the subjects face closest to canera you see the flash washing the face with light also they have to be side by side.

Simple bad angle shot , statues caught in the fore ground , there are two focal variations the one being the near and fuxxy picture portion where the statues are and the second the sharper people pictures in the background this is the true target of this picture, this is bogus simple photography buffs can see that.

This one baffles me but the best conclusion I can come up with is the light coming in the left window coming to the point of discoloration and the red indicates and over exsposure point in the film , the path of the light coming in the windows matches with the over exsposure point , next picture please.

What could this light be?

easy you have a reflection from the window where the light originates bouncing off the other door/window then coming to rest in the pool of water below both resulting in the final reflection. However I must say at first I thought it was upside down till I realized the the window being used for the reflection is double hung and can be opened from top or bottom . kinda tricky at first.

Ok first a little history for dogmata/stigmata whatever it is called, folks
crusifictions took place with nails through the wrist , the reason for this was the nails could not tear through when the whole weight of the body was placed there, the actuall cause of death was to have a pearson hanging on the cross till the person was either knocked out by stoning , bleeding induced black outs, or exhaustion caused the victim to loose their ability to hold their body weight up. The result would be the arms and collar bones and upper rib cage would form a noose effect around the breathing passages when enough pressure is applied the bodys air way is blocked and the victim sufficates, This is why Jesus was up there so long leaving a clean healthy life not indulging in foods of danger to the body gave him a longer thresh hold and here stayed on the cross for a day and a half till surcoming to suffication , then the stab in the side confirmed the suffication because if a victim flinched the body had not died.

Based on this brief and crued history I can only surmise this photo of the bloody hands is historically incorrect and that this is either fabricated blood or a induced condition that I cant tell for sure as the pricture is not clear enough , however this picture is staged.

This one is close but a blow up of the picture in question removes dought when blown up the break in the clouds is amazingly shaped , I cant explain why the shape is what it is but never the less you ar seeing the sun come through an interesting break in cloud cover at either early dawn or late dusk, thats a nice one though a keeper atleast in dought of divine influence because of the shapes mystery not often do clouds break so oddly to make shapes that can be seen to be a shape of a person like this.

These are beautiful and inspiring photos that will I believe inspire us to believe in Jesus even more than we already do.

This is easy direct light feed through the lense cause a reflection off the inner shutter of the camera then bouncing back off the lense into the film you are seeing the inner lense workings of the shutter being exsposed.

On this set of puictures the person presenting the pictures has pulled a smoke and mirrors job on us or atleast tryed , the bottom photo and top photo both have the common glare in the glass right, now look down and right at the picture, the same glare. This glare is coming from light coming through a door off scene and to the right and behind the photographer its a simple reflection , but a good try at misrepresentation though.

This one is of a poor enopugh quality I cant enlarge and analyze with my equiptment , that doesnt however mean it is factual.,but rather unalyzed.

NOw, Look at the next one?

The statues are taken picture of from differnt angles. The two on the left being two looking almost dead on to the statue with only minor variations, the top right the photographer swung low and to the left almost to center with the statue , and the bottom right the photographer swung further left of center and stayed low , a common reference point is the card and the words on it more words are in some pictures than others also the letters are larger or skewed by angles of distance or approach,.

This is the next photo.

Now, this is the last one.

That is not blood on the waffer , the texture is to gel like around the edges the form remains constant and there is thickness that is evident , blood thins in thickness as it moves outward this is to uniform , not to mention the color is bright red , seconds after exsposure to ouside the body environments blood turns darker and takes on brown characturistics this looks moore like jam or something but it is not blood ,also the dispersement of the blood like substance is in two directions towards the top and the bottom indicating manual spreading of the substance the sides are relatively unchanged in diameter.

The painting can make a sullen, snickering teenager, dragged to the parish hall by his parents, suddenly go slack-jawed and wide- eyed with wonder, the parish archivist and ladies in the gift shop report.

The lights go out. The life-size image of Jesus standing on the shore of the Sea of Galilee fades to a shadow as the wispy white clouds in pale blue sky and green water begin to glow around Him, as if all wer bathed in moonlight. Soon the silhouette of Jesus grows three-dimensional and appears more like a dark statue than flat image. His robes seem to billow in a breeze. Over his left shoulder the shadow of a cross is distinct to most. Some can see a halo over his head and the bow of a small fishing boat on the shore.

I am able to cause a simular effect, try this boys and girls, stare at the image closely for about 3-4 minutes and then close your eyes , what you see is the same effect, it's a burn in in the visual cortex, it is a nice picture thought and I wish I had a copy for my home , I think it is the most beautiful I have seen in a while.

October 21, 2004 - From the mailbag: I have some miraculous photos for you... These pictures were taken by a woman, in church in the U.S. I will not reveal the church as I don't think they want people swarming there to see this particular statue. What you are seeing in these pictures is the SAME exact statue, from different zooms and angles, however, one of the pictures changes and what you see is NOT a statue, but an apparition of the Blessed Mother herself.

This is the same statue!

almost got me there , but I see your flaw , the eyes 2 brown and 1 blue , but oooopppppssss the angles are differnt and the positions are at differnt distances this is a simple mix of shading and focus, I mean really depending on the lighting I cant take a picture of you and make it look in one as if you have no eyes but red beads in your eye sockets, its called the red eye effect where light reflects off the inner cornea of the eye, but that make your eye no less the color they where when we started,
