My first thread ever and maybe my only

I know, I'm a half year late finding this. I enjoy seeing your posts and you seem the intelligent sarcastic type I've always bonded well with in the real world. I came here looking for any threads you might have authored. You're obviously still kicking so I hope your health is greatly improved! I'm sure I am not the only one who would like an update.
My father had a nasty heart attack and was diagnosed with lung cancer just a month apart about 5 years ago. He is a very wise and mostly healthy 63 year old now.
Best of luck to you, and hope to see you around the boards for a long time to come!

I know , not like me at all , huh ?
But I at least know what he is going through health wise....
I didnt realize till I read an article that he suffers the same.

Yep , definitely not political on this thread....
But age has made me tough as nails....
And I may be leaving ATS for a lot longer soon

I was given at most 5 years. No longer.
Been over 6 and still fightin it

Please see a doctor
I was always the "tough guy" . It will go away . It is nothing.
It didnt in my case

As some know , I have been battling this enemy called cancer for nearly 4 years .

I did not know.

And , as an update , the fight continues. Apparently , with new regulations , you have to been in great shape to have an operation that may save your life...
