A handful of American's are buying dog tags in vietnam and returning them to their righful owners or families.

'It's a matter of honor,' say those hunting down lost military ID

WHEATON, Ill. - V.R. Roskam didn’t know anything about the men whose names were stamped on the small, thin pieces of metal. He didn’t know one belonged to a young Marine killed by a land mine. Or that one flew off a teenage soldier’s neck when he jumped from a helicopter into a firefight.

Returning these dog tags are sure to open up floodgates of emotions, some good and some bad, but I think the intentions are good and for a lot of people may bring closure, or a least some comfort!
