Can you summarize in 1-2 paragraphs what you predicted and how it is related to Trump ?

Russia has been supporting political parties on both the left and right in Europe in order to break up the EU. (The evidence is presented in the thread.) This is part of a larger program to bring liberal democracy into disrepute, hence their interference in the American elections. By making people cynical towards liberal democracy, they will be more accepting of Russian style Fascism: private property and economic prosperity, but at the cost of authoritarian government, nationalism, and military adventurism.

The ongoing Western rejection of modern day liberalism is not being masterminded by Putin, unless you think he is in control of Brussels and Washington.

He didnt say it was masterminded by Putin. Just that Russia has been supporting division in the EU and seemingly with the US.

Nice write up.
But if you are trying to tie Syria with Ukraine, let's dig deeper in time.
I agree that last year Russian involvement in Syria may have an explanation to bring USA to the Ukrainian Donbass table, removing sanctions etc.
But you know what, Syria started before Ukraine. Remember how Putin "saved" Obama from red line crossing about chemical weapons. What if Obama didn't exactly liked this how they say in Russian "Bear helping".
Obama escalated things in Ukraine ( Nuland etc), wanting to grab Russian base in Sevastopol. This in turn infuriated Putin.
He started soft Crimean annexation. And only after this the main stage returning again to Syria. Meanwhile ISIS made sudden appearance, first in Iraq and after in Syria. Now, if you think that Russians fight only for their base in Syria and to settle Ukranian crysis, to save long term ally Assad you are mistaken. They are genuinely hating any type of Jihadists since Afganistan and Chechnya. So, discovering again and again that USA is serious in their double role with Jihadists this making Russians even to feel morally right ( forgetting all other causes of the war)

Ok, I'm aware of your views on this subject. But I was asking also to explain how all this related to Trump.

Trump won Republican nomination without any Putin support, he is a genuine american bred soft fascist.

As for liberal democracy. If this is what Hillary Clinton representing I'm also having doubts if I want it.
The elephant in the room is that "liberal democracy" as it is understood today in USA includes also long term policy to impose on a large area of Earth
some kind of Califate, seemingly chaotic, but masterminded from USA.

No, but Putin is doing his best to exploit it. There are even people here at ATS who undermine liberal democracy at every opportunity.

What is your theory about who hacked the DNC emails?

Assange said it was wikileaks source unrelated to Russia. I don't have a strong opinion on the subject. It could be any hacker not motivated politically, but financially. It could even not "hacked" per se, but simply leaked and sold. Or just sold etc.

In short, I don't know.

And Russia seemingly is even more right than USA.
I'm watching another Russian talk show, where they trolling american Clinton supporters right in the studio.

youtu.be...

But, all this is just a show, stupid post modern show. Deep down in the soul Russia is still very socialist left and will never be as corporate America.

Too late, huh? No wonder Trumpa had a deer-in-headlights look at the White House today. God, he looked awful! A tired, old, effete man. More like someone would look after four years, not before. God help us all. Russia won't.

I have come to the idea that this is all him doing media expository. He has unmasked --- undressed -- and unraveled a whole thing that is beyond any precedent.

Now, perhaps the media and congress and 1% and wall street and everyone will be so shame-faced that things will ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

Perhaps he is the 'patsy' - the willing "Truman" from The Truman Show.......

and we now have about seven weeks to sort this crap out......or rather ---- TPTB have that long to do it. Or the overhaul will be spectacular and appalling all on one day.

sigh

Sad it had to come to this - but - here we are.
It's done.

When is the last time Washington, the 1%, and Wall Street ever felt shame? No, they have no shame. Maybe, maybe, media can be ashamed, or, get angry enough to change if they feel wronged... maybe.

When it comes to politics, Trumpa's brain has proved to be an empty vessel, into which the last person around him pours advice and thoughts. He was not a leader of anyone but himself before, needing instead to be led during the campaign. As I said somewhere else, Trump has been the useful idiot of other billionaires, such as Robert Mercer, a Koch Bros extremist ideology fan. Robert Mercer being the source of funds for Trump's last campaign team (Bannon, Conway, Bossie).

So, the electorate has spoken, we grieve, and then we dust ourselves off and get started! We stand our ground and fight together. We will only compromise when our values are not compromised.

Just one example, the source has more.... very inspiring

It does not mean handing the keys to our economy over to Wall Street so they can run it for themselves. Americans want to hold the big banks accountable. That will not happen if we gut Dodd-Frank and fire the cops responsible for watching over those banks, like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If Trump and the Republican Party try to turn loose the big banks and financial institutions so they can once again gamble with our economy and bring it all crashing down, then we will fight them every step of the way.

wow. I feel the need to post something, but my gob is smacked to the point I can't move my fingers toward any words that mean anything.

There are more headlines coming out every day. The Russians are celebrating. It has been said that Putin is now "relaxing the tension" (like, taking the finger off the trigger?). This truly is terrifying.

We are all relatively calm now (@ rioting droolers: CALM THE FLICK DOWN!) and need to start paying attention to the world's reaction to this.

The WHOLE WORLD is reeling with this event. It is truly uncharted - no playbook - what the ........?????????
