It appears there are some 1,144,935 threads.

Mostly get buried.

I see a lot of people complaining this year about nothing but election coverage. It seems if there were a random thread button, as I think it was Springer said "The truth is in here". So much of it forgotten...

Great idea. Just tonight I was looking for the thread where I spent two hours on my first visit back before the '12 London Olympics. Couldn't find the exact thread, but did find another I remembered from a subsequent visit. The thread opened with a video about living in a cell. I watched the video again tonight and enjoyed the same surprise and appreciation as four years ago.

The truth is "in here" but it should never be easy to find, Humanity isn't ready for it yet and spoonfeeding os for the young ones.

That's not fair!

Support the idea of a random thread button, I would totally use it to stumble upon the truth that I cannot yet handle.

edit on 4-11-2016 by DeadCat because: (no reason given)

Nothing stopping you from making a browser plugin!

One way to explore would be the existing Archive button, setting it to various dates in the past.
