Tracking poll: Clinton lead over Trump plummets from 12 percent to 2 percent

The double-digit lead Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton had just days ago over Republican rival Donald Trump has nearly been erased, and that's before Friday's bombshell that the FBI is reopening its investigation into her emails.

In four days time, Clinton's 12-point advantage among likely voters (50 percent to 38 percent) shrunk to just 2 points (47 percent to 45 percent) in a four-way race, according to the latest results of a daily ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll released Saturday.

We have seen the odds change quickly this election season. It's going to come down to the FBI, the information that continues to be released, and the public's reaction to the information.

I can see this going either way. I think Trump has around a 40% chance of winning now.

Right now you are seeing the polls reflect the undecided Republicans who have decided to hold their nose and vote for Trump.

Hillary being under criminal investigation is not reflected in those numbers yet, when it is the crooked pollsters will have to show Trump 2pts ahead when he is really 12 or more ahead. Get ready for a landslide Trump victory.

Polls are not real they are marketing tools meant to generate income.

Right. That poll was completed even before the news broke that Bill Clinton was pilfering his own Clinton Foundation "Charity", to build his personal wealth.

IMHO Hillary falling in the polls, before the email scandal came back, is part of the Democratic "rigging". The Democrats were afraid Hilary's substantial lead in the polls would cause low voter turn out and possibly a loss. Even Michelle Obama mentioned the need to get out to vote despite the lead.
