Why are the enlightened ones losing the war for planet earth? Is it because we are too passive and not aggressive enough?

The name for all the ones who are not enlightened are the un illuminated ones and everything they do is in the shadows. They are aggressive and mean! Shame how the world is run by such, I mean a real shame!

It is because of their very nature! They do not break the rules, laws, to better thier own situation. They must be "Ordered" to take decisive action, that is within the law.!

Most enlightened people would claim the way you change the world is by not trying to change the world. Or, the way to actively make change is with gentle persuasion like water on rock. And then a real master would throw in the bit the world is perfect just the way it is and doesn't need to change. What is really wrong with the world is your idea that the world is not perfect. And finally, a master would not let you get by without saying the shame you feeling has something to do with your lack of control in the world. The way to get control is to accept that you have none.

This how I think a master would respond. My response is more the result of being a linguistic automaton.

Certain point in time years ago, at a certain point I saw something over come my sense of view. A white light that was moving, a tunnel that seemed to winding like a roll coaster. It faded as soon as I noticed it and dissappeared just how it.phased in.

I had a similar experience with God. I was 19 at the time having one of my wisdom teeth removed without gas. The dentist was pulling the tooth out with pliers. The first three just popped out with ease. But the last one the dentist yanked on that thing for 20 minutes. Sweat was on his brow. He gave 2 or 3 extra shots of Novocain because the pain was so pain. And then with one final extra hard exertion it came out. At the moment it came out the pain was so intense that everything went white. And when I say white, I mean there wasn't anything but white 360 in x-y-z dimensions. It was a really strange feeling because it wasn't painful. But it was a really deep feeling of completeness. And then color and the room came back into view and I saw doctor Rothenberg's face smiling and he said to me, "David, David, David, look at your teeth, why didn't you come to me sooner? Acchch, oy vey!"

I think we have too many people on this planet who think they are enlightened.

Lets face it sometimes you need to do negative deeds to achieve positive ends.

Also the simple fact of the matter is that the good guy does not always win, that only happens in the movies. Its a dog eat dog world out there, which is rather unfortunate given our potential for goodness and greatness.

On the flip side through our potential for evil and destruction is also vast.

The enlightened one's are losing because only fools consider themselves enlightened.

Enlightenment in terms of spiritual technical terminology is a station of supreme awareness.

In metaphysics there are states and stations. A station is a permanent condition of awareness, a state is a temporary state of awareness.

When we do spiritual exercises like meditation, contemplation we are trying to reach a state where if we do it well enough over time it can propel us to a permanent state of high awareness that will not go away; Buddha’s experience under the Bodhi tree, for instance.

Enlightenment is not merely moral or ethical natural goodness.

It transcends this temporal idea of good versus evil or the cultivation of virtue and deals with the actual inner faculties of the mind or soul or inner world that are in some form perfected or complete.

Extreme virtuousness becomes then an attribute of the enlightened one, not merely as an inner goodness that can be learned through experience and cultivation.

Most enlightened adepts, though, say the most important thing to do to cultivate enlightenment are the virtues

Though the mentation sciences of the various traditions are also imperative: meditation…contemplation….Sufi Dhikr…Yoga mantras …Christian chants… and the like are utilized as techniques to cultivate states of luminous awareness that can propel a seeker to permanent enlightenment over time, or some times, rarely, in an instant.

Enlightenment then is the polishing of the human consciousness or heart until it shines forever as a mirror that reflects reality as it is.

What I’ve learned in this field is that to make it too mechanical in theoretical dissertations is self-defeating. Since the method doesn’t want to really indoctrinate but enlighten.

So we stay away from an overly doctrinal expression of the idea.

So your nonsensical and poetry is an attempt to allow people to perceive something rather than indoctrinate

The act is the issue, it makes one not themself which becomes cause of union with concepts and ideas, instead of creating concepts and ideas they follow them. So the programming goes... once one has learned all they need for basic survival then why brain about it? The hands are idle in such a situation unless typing.
