I've seen the ad for this a few times, and thought ATS likely has a demographic of people who would get a kick out of this.

It's from the producers of The Office and Parks and Recreation, and is a comedy like those two shows. It looks hilarious, the premise follows a guy named Ozzie Graham who discovers a support group for people who believe they were abducted by extraterrestrials.

In the ad for the show, the members of the support group are talking about their experiences; one woman has a "sexual" experience with a humanoid (what we might call a "Nordic"), another member talks about his experience with "Grays", and then a third member states that the "Reptilians" are really the only ones you need to worry about, the others are inconsequential (the other members go up in arms when he says this, LOL)

The first 2 episodes are supposed to come out on October 31st (TBS). I'm looking forward to watching this

It looks awesome.

I saw the sneak peek a week or so ago. It was pretty good. Different. I wondered if any of the writers had spent time on ATS.

I searched for "People of Earth" in the search and it didn't come up, sorry Puppylove!

I tried titling mine "People of Earth" but it said the title was already used. But I could find no such thing. So oddly not surprised. Something weird going on with that title...

I just watched the 1st episode on Youtube and it was great! And the previews for the next episode look just as good.

Thanks for the heads up, will watch it Halloween.

AHa! A refreshing break from the typical doom and gloom stories of alien intervention.

It will be interesting to see if there are hidden inducements to the TV audience for enlarging their concepts about ETs and ourselves. Seriously, our planet has this definite problem hanging over its head and the population needs help getting up to speed.

We have probes on Mars looking for signs of life, and half a dozen other scientific endeavors attempting to find life around other suns and half of the populations wants no truck with ETs or even believe that other life exists out there. So we can view this comedy as a genuine "whistling in the dark" affair that really has a very serious basic message to subtly impart to the uninformed.

It's not bad. Not great...but not bad.

I only watched the first episode though. Oddly enough, it shows for on demand, and worked fine last night.

I think a lot of ATS folks would find it funny. Picture the Office, but with Reptillians, Nordics (which they called something else I can't remember), and Grays. (and a self help group).

Mix in a little David Icke with the Reptillians being infiltrated with the humans...and it's at least fun for that...

I used to think that too....

But the more I'm around people as I get older and more cynical, the more I'm convinced the vast majority of folks simply couldn't handle it. If disclosure ever happens...there will definitely be a period of civil unrest....

Actually they kinda combined Nordics and Tall Whites into one species, not quite properly portraying either.

That's what they called them...the Whites.
