A Needle In The Haystack...Keep Looking

Hello All,
This is my first thread so please be gentle. I have looked at the other forum headers and this one seems to be the most appropriate due to the fact the "Other Current Events" really is what I am driving at. The event (the Needle) just may not be all that obvious at the moment. So, here's a theory or at the very least a thought that I had. I am reasonably sure that I am not alone in this way of thinking. So for those of you who have thoughts or theories similar to this one, I would love to hear from you. On to how this started.

I was sitting in my living room earlier this morning and my oldest daughter was perusing her social networking accounts and she picked her head up and said, "you know, Dad, none of this stuff with the election makes any sense"..."it's like the USA wants to look stupid in front of other countries and other governments". She went on to say, "this whole thing [election coverage, Wikileaks, etc.] is a show". Then she said, "I don't want to see this crap anymore because I feel like I can't see anything else...it sorta consumes me". It was in that moment that I was like, "holy crap!". I felt duped in the worst way. She may be on to something and I had to rewind and ask myself if it was possible that her reaction to this whole thing wasn't the purest and most reasonable reaction to current events. You see, she's a smart kid and also probably wouldn't consider herself a conspiracy theorist. So, from where she sits, none of this makes any sense to her. She's right. It's almost as if the all of the events are designed for "conspiracy theorists". Sort of something to keep us busy.

I believe, in many ways, people like most of us here on ATS tend to be a thorn in the side of those who are trying to keep secrets. It is also equally as apparent to me that along with all of the other media hype and derailing that there is the obvious and ever-increasing attempt to obfuscate the opinions of those people in the conspiracy circles. What if this was the largest scale smoke and mirrors campaign ever? The intent would be to hide the biggest secret ever. Does it make sense?

I asked myself a couple of questions before I wrote this post. First of all, without digging too deep into the haystack---what do the current events look like? What is the subject matter? And what of those events, in particular, seem to be gently inserted like our gov't treats 'earmarks'? What if we are all looking in the wrong direction? Is there something getting a bit of press but not so much that we stop, look and listen? I am not a big follower of threads of or relating to UFO's, Nibiru, ETI, etc. It's not that I don't believe in the possibilities---it's more that I do not have a lot of knowledge in these areas. So, as part of my pledge to "Deny Ignorance", I believe that your answers as members here are part of my education. So, I ask you this...What could be so big that the campaign to conceal it would be have to be so ridiculous and have the global reach that this year's leaks and elections are having? How consumed are we? What are they hiding? It seems like the greatest show on earth filled with tricks, stunts, danger, excitement and even clowns! My opinion is that this circus is beyond intentional.

I guess what I am asking for here is, if you agree with my theory, what in your opinion is being hidden from us and why? I look forward to the responses and inherent education on some of the subjects that I have yet to discover on my own. Is there a needle in the haystack?

What's the difference between a Republican and a Democrat? A republican sucks and a Democrat blows.

What they are hiding is how the system does not apply to them. Clinton is corrupt but so are a lot of people in government. From spouses / family members getting insider info to make money on the stock market (Pelosi's husband) to family members getting no bid contracts from the government etc...

They are trying to hide the fact they are above the law. I think electing Trump is seen as a threat to their continued existence / way of life.

Essentially they are acting like the SS in nazi Germany. Take what they want, kill who they want, destroy who they want all the while breaking the laws that dont apply to them to do it.

Thank you for your thoughts on this. Your opinion is exactly where I was/am at. My daughter's commentary shifted my thought process a bit because it [the events] seem so over the top. I guess that there appear to be so many distractions in this day and age. I attribute some of the onslaught of info to the fact that we can exchange information so quickly now...BUT, I am also still not completely satisfied that this isn't all that is going on. I maybe wrong. In the meantime, thank you for your response. I hope to get many more.

Good first thread! Also, you have a very intuitive daughter....."from the mouths of babes", as they say.

I think, if there is an intentional push to distract us from something, it is probably something going on in our monetary system.

Wrapping your mind around a $20 trillion dollar debt is mind-boggling. Under Obama's "leadership" our debt has doubled!! Politicians make all sorts of excuses, but think about that amount of debt! It's unconcionable.

I agree with your theory. Perhaps the economy is on the brink of another 2008 scenario (or worse), or perhaps there's much more to what's been going on in Syria and/or the rising tensions between the US and Russia.. hmm. Good thread, very well-written and thoughtful. Flagworthy I would say!

My personal belief, having been a member here since 07, and having been broadly mindful of world events for the whole of my sentient life (I was a kid that watched news and documentaries, more than cartoon shows), is that this election has been constructed to fit the times it is being held in.

Social media, for all that it has destroyed INTELLIGENT discourse in polite society, reduced most commentary to one hundred and forty character soundbites, not to mention embuggering use of language to the point where lol is a more common term than anything which ever came out of a dictionary, has managed to bring people to a level of awareness about things that are going on around them, which is uncommon. Further to that, the 9/11 event and things which have happened afterward, have made a great many people question the wisdom of their leaders, the government, the system in general and the structures which keep things familiar, despite near enough everyone knowing in their hearts that something has to give.

If the election this time around had been run of the mill, a process whose pure intent and design is to allow the people to select their leader from a pool of candidates, without coercion, without being influenced in the least by media or pundits or any other group, then there would have been far less attention paid to the actual event of the election, the debates, the personality. Everything would have been concluded according to policy, the primaries would have been fundamentally tedious although important affairs, and would have attracted little media interest, save for from those channels and publications with a specific focus on political matters. There would have been little sensationalism involved, just the candidates who had the best policies, getting the most votes, and being put forward.

This would have left people a great deal of time to concentrate on what the government is up to, locally, and nationally, as well as geopolitically. And your daughter is absolutely right to come to the conclusion she has, because at the moment, the situation in the middle east, the Russian involvement, the many bought and paid for western intelligence assets on the ground (IS, Al Nusra, and others) and the Assad regime are all involved in the most utterly appalling regional collapse one could ever imagine.

There are so many fingers in so many pies, that one hardly knows where to begin. First and most importantly, what is the NSA up to with all that data these days? Have their methods evolved as a response to the Snowden revelations? Have their techniques become ever more difficult to evade, have they upped their game or changed it in response to his utterances, and if so, how?

What are the people who developed the false pretense for the War on Terror up to just at the moment? Where are they? How are they not yet in jail? They should be, because they are guilty of causing slaughter on a massive scale, over an enemy they had part ownership of, whose actions are their responsibility, as are the actions of the armed forces sent to Iraq, and Afghanistan, both of which were ALSO wars fought against owned opposition.

Where are those who bailed out the banks, what are they doing now, and what are those who may have replaced them in positions of power up to? And most important of all...

Who owns the Federal Reserve Bank?

You see, this election is so vibrant and eye catching, because there are so many questions that people legitimately have, that to leave those people absent a reason to concentrate on something else during an election cycle, is to risk the strength of the grip that "The Management" have over "The Managed". Imagine Bernie Sanders in office for a moment. Do you suppose that he would accept a scenario where the health and well being, financial and medical, was in the hands of private organisations at any level at all? I do not believe so. I believe he would have pushed for a state medical system where there simply are not any privately owned hospitals, clinics, or any other such thing, where all places of medicine are government facilities at least as good as you would find on any US military base. I think he would insist on it. That would take power away from powerful people, and people more powerful than them would get angry about that, and have to do something drastic. Better he never gets in. Do you think he would put up with a nation owned by shadowy powerbrokers, of the sort who have owned the nation since 1913, when the Federal Reserve, a privately owned organisation, controlled by people that you are not permitted to know the names of? I do not think so. I think he would be all over that like fart gas in a room full of teenagers after burrito night.

So the election is two things in one. Smoke and mirrors, and a control mechanism all at once.

There are some dark and sinister things going on. The "establishment" is involved in highly criminal activity, most notably significant human trafficking. There are also some very scary things that are alleged to be occurring among the ruling elites, involving dark rituals and trauma based mind-control (from a very young age, as early as 1-2 years old). Look up the Hidden Hand dialogues and the accounts from Svali.

Hillary swearing to pay "penance" to the Rothschilds for having Tony Blair cancel a planned visit to attend a matter of state is particularly troubling, and indicative that one of the most powerful people in the world has people above her that she is deathly afraid of.

Also look up the information available from Corey Goode and David Wilcock, the hard evidence coming out from William Tompkins is very illuminating. If the things that they are alleging are even 1% true it will undo the entire world structure.

Human civilization is on the precipice of a major transition, whether that means a metaphysical "ascension", a global economic reset which will replace the current debt-based system with a commodity backed system, or our leap into the cosmos through a "full disclosure" event, the elites are scared to death that their unopposed, universal control over our world and our species is slipping through their fingers.

Thank you for your post. It's a lot to consider (imagine). I have honestly never been so without words for my children. Their questions come from a foundation of bull# social networking. My oldest daughter has managed to 'keep her head' about all of it BUT current events are starting to wear her down. This is why she asks. I will certainly extrapolate what I can from your post and share it with her to the extent that she will understand. I, my friend, will just continue to move forward, protect my family with all that I have and hope for a massive awakening. Fingers crossed.

Starting my research on your suggested topics and people now and thank you for confirmation on some of things that I absolutely can't deny to be true. I understand that I can only speculate while I investigate but some things just 'fit'.

The information from Svali is hard to get through, just because of how horrifying it is. I have a baby girl and imagining her being put through what Svali describes was awful.

The good news is that there seems to be an overarching message of hope. There are forces trying to help us, and even though things will be tough for a while everything just might change for the better.
