It is already discussed online here and there, what exactly Jesus did with his own sexuality. Was Mary Magdalene the only one to know it, or how it were all about, since his mature age that apparently was not the age of 30, not even 20...

A number of apocrypha books shed light on that, not only by pointing to Mary Magdalene as the person in love with Jesus, but also giving much wider perspective of Jesus' teaching of love. When that love goes beyond the charity so much preferred to be identified with it by most of the Christian churches. Love includes sexuality.

The christian philosophical idea Jesus is the sole bridegroom to the Church brings a number of questions forward. As how many brides he would have then, because the Church consists of billions. I do not say Jesus is not the bridegroom, I just say the theological interpretation of it lacks substantiality and prefers to bet on idealistic models that are not proven to be the case. Did Jesus speak about that theory to the disciples? Instead, we read Magdalene hug his feet and John leaned on his breast. Perhaps there is something we were not told throughout those centuries of mysticism when the body of man was considered sinful apriori and in long term the death as the only deliverance from it. The happiness of sexual love was discussed only recently by St John Paul II, and still in very narrow frames. I guess a century ago his encyclicals would be banned in the Index.

In a time when many people do not know how to react to phenomena such as gay marriages, let alone the well known diverse and subsequent marriages between heterosexual couples, while they want to remain faithful to the Lord, isn't it better instead of introducing new phrases of old phenomena that shaped all human history, to turn directly to Jesus himself who might have already given the answers? And to read those answers without any prejudices of post-Constantinian Christianity. What we have now is a distorted version of what was intended to be the lifestyle in early Christian communities. Sooner or later we have to go back to the roots and to rediscover why should the martyrs give up their lives at some very early age for some of them, for such a sterile version of Gospel as the 4 canonical gospels offered to us thru centuries as the only word of God the incarnate Jesus Christ. John himself wrote at the end of his gospel, Jesus said and did quite many more things...

What'd the point? The fact is that there is no evidence that Jesus married or was not celibate.

People over-analyse things.

actually there is...

but such texts are considered Heretical when speaking of Jesus

not to mention said texts are 200+ years removed from his time... not unlike a few NT texts

Have you followed this rabbit hole ?

(RNS) If “The Gospel of Jesus’ Wife” sounds a bit like something out of a Dan Brown novel or an episode of “The X-Files,” that’s because, the Harvard scholar who introduced it to the world now admits, it likely is a fake. RELATED: Did Jesus have a wife? New historical discovery raises old question That admission by Karen L. King, a professor at the Harvard Divinity School, comes after an investigation into the history of a papyrus fragment known as “The Gospel of Jesus’ Wife,” published last week by The Atlantic.
religionnews.com...

This is how real research is done and is a mini thriller funny and sad and quirkey all at once . well worth the read www.theatlantic.com...

So its not a matter if the story should get out but what will people do with the story because its been out there and many are not buying it .

Your analysis notwithstanding. Theres no mention of it either way, in the 'accepted versions' of his-story.

we have the phenomena of Constantine-shaped and Roman-Byzantium -shaped Christianity that at that time was the official version of history and reality. You could create whatever version you want to, by erasing records and killing heretics.
Today it is hard to comprehend that in time of centuries old printing press, even before the invention of electronics. Somehow, the truth survived however.

To be quite honest there is no physical proof,seems like a story told by a group with using him as a tool,from what I've read the religion's were set up to control the public,scare them into thinking they are constantly watched,and I grew up with father leader in the church,religious background,but I always seek the truth,and from what I gathered I've been duped,so for that matter if no one existed then he could be anything you want

There is no doubt mainstream Christianity is a mess of two religions, one Jewish and the other pagan.

It's not like the Catholic Church has preserved the actual truth about...pretty much anything.

Jesus had a penis, certainly got erections and was attracted to women. He would not have been listened to as an unmarried Rabbi so I think he was married prior to his Baptism by John, who lived a unique life not at all in conformity with Judaism as with today's Mandaeans, his followers today.

But nobody knows if he had kids, it seems unlikely.

He totally ''knew" Mary Magdalene, the disciple he loved (it was not John).

It is the Gospel of Philip that has Jesus kissing Mary Magdalene (Tower) and her being the first witness to his ressurection is something overlooked as unimportant but says more than people (prudes) like to admit.

She is the "disciple Jesus loved" for those who have ''eyes that see, ears that hear."

What people don't realize is that in Aramaic or Syriac Mar means lord and Martha lordess.

Mar iam is a prophetess names and Mariam of Migdala means priestess or prophetess of the Tower.

There was a Canaanite Goddess named Illahu Migdala or the goddess of the Tower.

Of course nobody besides scholars know this and few at that, but there is a Goddess element to Mary Magdalene that only the so called initiated would get.

I am a son of Christ and Magdala.

No it didn't. Look around today, the official version of events is mostly lies.

Add a couple thousand years and the tale is completely altered.

The body is the temple.

Jesus = Spirit
Church = Body

The spirit is married to the physical body until "death do they part".

Namaste, friend. It is NOT important to know if the Master Jesus was married, what relationships he had, or if history is correct about
who he enjoyed being with romantically. What is important were his teachings about Father God and the Kingdom of Heaven. The Master taught Love for God and then Love for Mankind. Through those two things yield the entire essence of the Kingdom. Those two things are what you should be focused on. For in the higher worlds, sexuality and men/women relationships are the LEAST important aspects of life.

You need to dare to compare the dead sea scrolls to what we have in the bible today before you can make that claim .There is the complete book of Isaiah .Lots of partial scripts . best of luck though .

You know they keep those under lock and key. Same with the bones that 'prove' evolution.

As mich as I appreciate the input, nothing but nothing gets me to believing the 'official' narrative.

Good luck with that, too.

Jesus is an archetype for the image you see, the image of God and light of life, Mary Magdalene represents Earth which is why she hugged his feet, your feet are the contact point with Earth, she is what is within your field of view (image of God, light of the world) and he (the image) is "married" to her. She is "at his feet" and as we know "he has put everything under his feet" (1 Corinthians 15:27). We are looking "down" at Earth from the 4th dimension with Earth being the 3-dimensional shadow of our 4-dimensional Spirit. The Spirit is unseen and is what Jesus calls Father. The Father is within all life not just Christians as some believe.

Jesus in this light is the child/Son of the body and Spirit a.k.a. Mother Earth and Father Spirit. Once the Spirit enters the body at conception the mind and image are created giving us another perspective within the world we all share. Jesus is androgynous by way of being the product of both male and female archetypes and is consisted fully of both spectrums.

Do you see yourself? Not your body but the image that reveals your body which you see every waking moment of your life. Follow that light and you will never walk in darkness and you will truly find the light of life and salvation.

I do not believe the sexuality of Jesus is of any consequence to the message that is trying to be conveyed within the story of Jesus. It isn't meant to be read literally it is meant to be internalized and related to the very life you are living right now.

It's as meaningful and relevant as distributing quantum physics papers to hamsters!
They will eat it and crap on it, and feel 'relieved'/justified.

well that might be true. At the same time, what we do here in this forum or elsewhere, creates a new level of awareness, even if not shared by most. No one can say it has never been said therefore it didn't exist. Not only on this topic but on every other important topic;
