Greetings-

I had a thought about CNN™ and other news outlets. Remember when CNN™ was broadcasting the war?

www.britannica.com...

This is when Wolf Blitzer made His bones. "Storming Norman" Schwarzkopf; Colin Powell...

www.youtube.com...

en.wikipedia.org...

Then just now I saw these:

www.metabunk.org...

skeptics.stackexchange.com...

Were "They" lying then too? What does ATS™ type?

Stay Hydrated...

The Gulf War is from before my time (I was in diapers at the time), but this topic interests me very much so I will be following the thread. Thanks for sharing JN

If you mean, were they lying about what was going on? Probably. Whether they were lying about where they were when they reported it, is rather less of an issue if you ask me.

The op reminds me of when Garaldo, while suffering the "fog of war",
reported on a friendly fire incident that hadn't happened yet.
Maybe he was just in the wrong town but as they say, don't let the facts stand in the way of a good story.

I was in high school during Gulf War I. So if you're asking me, my memories are confined to riding back from a basketball game andlistening to endless reporting on whether or not there were or were not scud mistles being fired at Kuwait.
