Cubbies

I don't post very often and when I do its very alcohol infused. This, though, is in my blood.

The Chicago Cubs are in my blood. I didn't choose this. I was born into a life of upsets. No need to talk about the tragedies before, we all know the story.

The feeling in my blood, and of my peers, is beyond politics. Beyond war. Beyond trivial matters.

THIS MATTERS

No one can experience this joy with us. You are born into it or not. Nothing in the world matters right now except the Cubbies.

This is my life right now. I love my family and my savior Jesus. I am a hardcore believer in creationism. But who cares.

The Lord will forgive me for putting so much stock into trivial things.

The Cubbies are Great. This is our year. The Holy Grail of sports.

This is it. No more waiting. Just typing this makes me emotional.

I'm a Giants' fan saddened by their meltdown at the end of the NLDS Game 4 vs the Cubs, but I'm routing for the Cubs the rest of the way.

My parent never got to see them win the series either so I was kinda losing hope.

I want a Cubs/Indians World Series, no one would win.

Games one and two are over in that other city. Arrieta tossed one h3ll of a game! And the bats came alive. Cheering at the restaurant with two other dude as back to back walks drove in another run! First World Series win since 1945! I feel your excitement toolman18!

Back to the Windy City for games three, four, and five. Which means the Cubs could take the series at home!

lifelong cubs fan here and i have been saying that just as the cubs are about to win it all with a 10 run lead, nobody on base, 2 outs and 2 strikes in the ninth inning an asteroid is going to hit lol GO CUBS GO!!!!

Roll Tribe! Looks like my hometown is getting two major championships this year!
