Steelers! Fellow fan here, but I personally think California has too many teams while others (like Oregon, where I am) don't, and it makes me mad haha. Can't complain much when the state voted for Nascar over NFL, and ended up with a soccer team. Funny how that works out.

Side note; it doesn't sound right for Las Vegas to have a team. Las Vegas Raiders sounds like a gang of casino thieves.

I guess moving a bunch of pirates to Las Vegas, a hive of scum and villainy, makes some sense. Although, I don't think pirates do very well in the desert. Maybe they ought to embrace the Mad Max thing? Raider Haters seem to sort of have that vibe going on anyhow.

It's about time Vegas had there own pro sports team.
Hell, you can bet on sports in so many ways now, The fact that they are physically in Vegas will be negligible.
...and yes, the Raiders will still suck.

Well let's be honest here. The raiders were playing on the infield of a baseball stadium.
Look out Vegas.

It will be interesting to see how many players get suspended . the raiders are not known for hiring high character players.....and even more worrisome is how many players end up broke at the craps table and have to attempt to throw a game to pay off the bookie....

Isn't there the large hurdle of getting the necessary 24 out of the 32 team owners to agree? I was under the impression that it will take some deft persuading since there is some resistance to the idea of the Raiders moving (more television revenue in the relatively larger Bay Area market; concerns about having a team in a hotbed of the gambling industry), but I could be wrong.

From my understanding the NFL already gave the go ahead for them to move. The market in Oakland was not all that great for the raiders, beside the die hard fans the stadium rarely sold enough seats to clear the tv black out in the area. They will most likely make more money in tv rev with the move. My question is will they be able to fill the stadium in Vegas when there is so much to do there
