After the Hurricane, Mumbo and her Queen of the palace Servants were in the middle of a silent conversation...no words need be spoken between
them...it wasn't even a transference of words from one mind to the other...not even visions...
for
when the two were near
when the two were apart
the warmth of the sun
the gentle caress of the moon
centered their good will
calmed the emotional waters
hiding behind each other eye's
and Mumbo in recieving such a blessing
to love,
felt the bittersweet torment
only a parent surrenders too
creating life
loving it
or not
as long as Mumbo's Queen felt warmth,
love...joy in being alive
Mumbo found one lock
opened
between the passing of spirits
a collection of souls
and the path to rebirth
So,
Mumbo having followed the storm
three nights and three days
was actually being followed
around most traumatically
by the ever calming eye
and it was Chumbo
all along...
!!
"Chumbo i set you free and yet there you are...the mystics told told me to let my love, you my prized possession, go free and there you are!
...and i feel like i am looking at the most beautifully scented rose...wanting to take it, and trap it forever once again and i can not bare this for
i will surely destroy that which i love the most...
this love is to perfect for me
keep it away, safe from my nature...
sorry, my most perfect lover, my nature is a most destructive force...
until i find another imperfect love... your love will be what all will strive towards...
not mine, for only in you is my love perfect..!"
Chumbo beat his wings in response and found his inner calm...
"Mumbo, i still think of you..."
Mumbo was happy for one more moment...
"Chumbo! you granted me peace and that is all... May you my dear Chumbo know i remain faithful as a servant until i may serve only Chumbo!!
may Chumbo's goodwill be ours!"
Mumbo sang to the crowd...all hiding behind the trees, flowers, stones and animals...
a few sprites peaked out from behind a dew drop on a spider web....
"Even though Mumbo is a figment of our imaginations..at least she is real..." one sprite said the the other...
Mumbo vanished quick as she appeared...for magick words were spoken and mumbo returned to wherever..no body knew for sure...
mumbo knew..and so did the king and his Queen...
the place of a thousand names...! where calling upon one is nearing the chaotic bliss...between sadness and joy...
loneliness and company

You have a wonderful talent for describing what emotions are like. Somehow I often feel the emotions you describe quite deeply. There aren't many
writers in the whole world who make me feel that way.
Concerning the quote above, are you conveying the idea that our imaginations can create real things?
the language of fae is difficult to comprehend...even the folks that aren't spoken too or looked at (publicly acknowledged...so to speak) contain real
emotions, unashamed to speak the truth of how they feel...like children oftentimes will or do not...depending on how many words in body language,
facial expressions or plain wording in any language..and if any parental type folks notice real emotions conveyed...
hope that makes sense..?
thank you for your reply... i read the hunger games trilogy and the emotions contained in the writing are very strong...perhaps where i learn, from
reading and thoughtful recomendations by kind strangers...
