It's quite easy to avoid civilian deaths when you're bombing empty desert, and don't have to deal with terrorists who embed themselves within civilian-heavy urban centers for the express purpose of using them as human shields.

You do know how difficult it was for the US to win their last few wars due to civilian push back from highly publicized civilian deaths? I guess we don't worry about those when Russia is in charge.

Boris Johnson is a buffoon and has no idea what he is doing or talking about.

Anybody who believes that is a buffoon themselves. Johnson is a highly reputed journalist and editor, as well as being the author of literally dozens of successful books. He is an intelligent, highly educated and creative man with considerable integrity and an active conscience. He also has a keen political mind. I thought he was hideously wrong on Brexit, but in general his is the kind of conservatism I can live with and even, at times, approve of.

His creativity and willingness to try risky gambits, coupled with his integrity, often make him look clownish to stupid people. Others know better.

When Boris, the MSM and others bring up Aleppo and the 250,000 civilians being bombed, they are being rather "economical" with the truth and facts!
Aleppo is currently split into East and West due to the fighting. The vast majority of civilians fled into West Aleppo, under fire from ISIS and other US backed proxies and are safer from the fighting as a result, with the Russian and Syrian bombing halting the bombardment of them. The number of any civilians in East Aleppo is a lot smaller, but when Boris and others talk about 250,000 civilians in Aleppo, they are talking about "possible" numbers as a whole, East and West. A deliberate muddying of the waters for the masses and based purely on it's propaganda impact.

Boris is an idiot and has always had aspirations of a higher office and, accordingly, will say and do whatever he thinks will ingratiate him with the paymasters, like a good little government drone!
He and others like him throw out the term "International Law" at every opportunity but his own government, and the others he supports in this mess, are the ones in breach of it and have been for a long time. As such, it is nothing more than hollow talk and a cover up of their own criminality. When he and his ilk actually start adhering to International Law, maybe he will then have a viable case to hold others to it. Until then he is nothing more than a criminal blowhard advocating more war for his masters.
