Indeed.

Western foreign policy in the middle east has been a shambles since 1947 and the creation of Israel which was mismanaged, then it shot itself in the right foot in Iran in 1953, shot itself in the left foot (again in Iran) in 1979, before going on to distribute enough weapons to fill itself full of holes in Iraq in 2003, and now continues to fail in Syria.

Its not a one president/sec def/secretary of state issue. Its a systematic failure of two generations.

Let's ignore the 800lb gorilla in the room! The Bush's got the U.S. into this cess pool in the Middle East. There's not a day that goes by that all you zombie Trump supporters put all the blame on Clinton and Obama for the conflicts and wars in the Middle East.

Sure both of them are to blame for continuing this destructive foreign policy, but stop ignoring the roots of this entire mess!! Where was all the outrage when George W. Bush invaded the sovereign country of Iraq based upon lies and connecting them to the attacks on 9/11??? Where is all the outrage over 5,000 service men and women who have lost their lives due to this war crime? Even the economic crash of 2008 was blamed on Obama, when he was just entering into office at the time and following Bush's lead to bail out the banking system.

Hell, someone even came up with "Bush did it". Yes, this may have started years ago, but does that excuse what they've done over the last 8 years? Does that excuse Clinton's involvement in all that? Why, if Bush did something so terrible, did they not stop it, or at least try to, instead of them continuing and profiting from it?
It's all ok, because she didn't start it, right? If Trump wins, will you give him the same pass you're giving Clinton? Or bitch and whine that he not stopping it?

Whether it's past tense, it's still a war crime! It's not like the statue of limitation is applied here. Bill Clintons sexual deviance is past tense (and he was impeached). However, a president and his administration who was clearly responsible for sending troops to their deaths based upon smoke and mirrors and sanctioning torture which goes against the Geneva Convention, is a crime and shouldn't be swept under the rug just because he's no longer in office! That gives a dangerous precedence to other elected official who take office.

We can than justify Hillary Clinton's scandals saying, "oh well that was past tense, she's no longer Secretary of State." The general population would be held accountable and thrown in jail for these same offenses. Why should elected officials be immune to their crimes, even when their out of office?"
