Well this is very sad news, blupblup was a good poster

My condolences to all his family, rest well blupblup.

It just occured to me -- too late to change the thread title -- that "Rest in Peace" isn't really so apropos for BlupBlup. I mean, I don't think of his spirit as floating gently around any place, doing nothing. Nope. Wherever he is, he is Stirrin' it Up.

I haven't been on ATS in quite some time. I've returned only to read this sad news. Always enjoyed this person's posts. He'll be missed.

RIP Blupblup... He was an ATS legend.

As an infrequent member who really only lurked I cannot say I ever interacted with Blup -regrettably,
- but I enjoyed his posts and they (and his tagline) were extremely familiar to meh, both pre-membership and as a noob as I wandered thru the ATS landscape.
It's truly our loss, thank you for posting x

I have only just read this terrible news.

Still reeling here from the death of Rising Against, and now blup has gone.

He changed my life and never even knew it. I owe him so damn much.
He was the first person on here to message me, at a time when I was at a pretty low confidence ebb. Chatting to Pip brought me back to life, crazy stuff like singing to me on youtube ( the guy could sure sing ...hell yeah !! ). I just loved him to bits.
He rocked.
Plus his ave was defo the coolest around at the time.

Was I in love with him, at that special moment in time the answer would be " most definately " .
But hey ho nothing lasts forever, but over that brief time where the stars had crossed our paths, I was re-born.

I thank you Pip with all my heart for being the amazing catalyst that inspired me to change my image and mindset forever.

This is shocking, I can't believe it. What terrible news.
He was a really great poster here and always picked such great tunes. I really don't know what to say other than you'll be hugely missed blup and thank you argentus, for kindly passing on such dreadful news.

I've been away a long time too. I liked, respected and admired BlupBlup - my kind of guy and i'm sure that those who knew him in person feel his loss enormously. Don't know what else to say really, like everyone else i'm left feeling somewhat empty by his passing.

I shall remember him very fondly, shame i never knew him better.

Words just don't do justice

Absolutely devastated to read this.

I only visited ATS sporadically for a few months or so after the Brexit debate and have only very recently started looking in daily and having more than just a casual glance at recent posts.

Blupblup and Woody were two of only three people I considered true friends here on ATS and who I interacted with in the 'real world'.

I had some good laughs with blup.
We tried on a few occasions to meet up for a 'few' pints, we had a few near misses but circumstances always seemed tp be against us.
He was very insightful and intelligent and he loved a bit of craic, having a laugh and enjoyed life.

Maybe in another time and place my friend.

Been out and raised a few glasses in honour of my friend.

Watched the football and played a few tunes on the juke box.

Blup knew I loved music, as indeed he did.

Months have gone by, but we still think of you, BlupBlup. We still miss you and your humour, your insightfulness, your honesty and your absolute humanity.
