I would say nothing, considering such 'alien contact' would understand nothing we say nor sign to them. It's bad enough trying to communicate with another language on this earth so forget communication between other beings.

This will be the main problem for our, understanding and peace once such life (if not already achieved) comes to visit us. Is that we cannot say ''we come in peace'' because any movement or audio may sound threatening to them. However they may not resolve things with violence like we do but maybe their reaction to us is violent in nature and thus, boom boom goes the artillery guns. End of our peaceful relationship. This however may already be what has happened between earth and another planets that may have contacted earth. Maybe the reason the government does not talk about it, mass hysteria if we are at war without knowing it.

I would personally hold my hands out and hope for a ride, or the very least. A quick glimpse into their world.

Too late, the invasion already begun around 20 years ago, it's a slow but consistent infiltration process. There's nothing we can do, their 'operatives' look and act completely human, but can manipulate us using some form of telephaty.

Since the aliens are already here there will be no invasion. If they wanted to get rid of humans they would simply put something in the water that would target humans only, deleting mankind and sparing all the deer, fish, plants, etc.

If they are in any way advanced, and they must be to have to have made it here, then they also know that the universal language is MATHEMATICS so don't worry yourself about it unless you at least undertand the MESSAGE, like the Arcipelego message developed by carl sagan. I'd say, "Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine."

Considering we don't have squat to face an invasion fleet with(unless any of the stories of a "Black" space program or very "foreign" allies are true; even then it probably wouldn't be enough and all we could do is plead our case to the "Space UN or galactic Federation...LOL, it would do as much good as it does here on Earh). Otherwise, we bend our head between our knees and kiss our ass goodbye.

That's if it's a fleet of force bent on our destructive overthrow or annihilation. If it's a fleet of an Empire here to annex Earth and its solar system...then frankly unless they are Draka or Nazi esque levels of Evil, then I'm hoping we'd join them. Be nice to be part of something bigger for the Human race, even if at first we are 2nd class or low tier citizens and have to prove ourselves to sit along side the big boys of the Galaxy.

My advice would be, move to an area of the world with little geo political significance, but somewhere you can be comfortable.

We don't know, this far we agree. But I disagree "they'd have to be draka or nazi esque levels of evil"? Then you'd be on board? No. Not me, sounds like a good reason to jump. Maybe prepare the capsule with survival stuff and make alarm and jump inside your "life raft". The first one would get shot of course. Maybe then a few, but one, two, three, who knows how many would make it. I know which side I'm on in the fight, or flight question.

What do you mean by "jump"? I just said in my post that if they are Hardcore EVIL(Draka,Nazis...etc) I'd fight/resist them, otherwise, what's the point of resisting? A Space British or Roman Empire equivalent would be a godsend to the Human Race.
