Why do we beleve in Aliens and UFOs

When I was going to sleep last night I started thinking why people believe that aliens are visting earth. Is there really one single peice of undeniable proof? Some people may have seen something that they couldn't explain and others may experinced something.

But there is still alot of people that believe without having seen anything but pictures and read stories from "whistleblowers". I'm sure that there is life in the universe and I believe that we are visited by aliens but im not sure why, maybe it's the amount of reports and pictures. Whats your thoughts, why do you believe?

probably plenty it's just a matter of getting the powers that be to show it to us.
