Any conservative applauding Trumps gaming of the system can never say anything about people taking advantage of welfare again.

Its legal to harbour homophobic, xenophobic, anti-poor, anti-science views as well.
Do you want that in your politics too? See, that is where this whole "Legal vs Just" issue comes to pieces. What is legal is not even nearly important. What is just is important, and neither candidate is just. Picking between them would be legal, but engaging with a process so flawed as to produce either of these as a winner, is frankly idiotic.

Ah yes. They do it, so why should it bother you that I do it?
You know what the difference between Trump, and a person who actually works for a living is? Trump can afford to pay the tax he avoids paying. Just saying. Perhaps its time your people elected a president who is not stinking rich and part of the problem? Thats a thought, eh?

Well, we could argue that since the Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled over the years that the sixteenth amendment does not grant the government a right to raise a tax on income, that no one should be paying any, but regular folk get arrested when they fail to file a 1040, so I learned just today!
Point is though, one rule for bigwigs and another for everyone else, does not wash.
