I do not believe for a second the government is afraid of us. If they are afraid of anything it is the fact the veil of illusion has been lifting and they are getting caught in too many of their lies thus they are afraid of losing their power. Perhaps they are afraid to a point, that being not knowing for sure their plans will work as they hope. For sure though the division amongst the people they created was a brilliant plan all in all to take the focus off of them allowing them to advance the goal quicker and having people so focused on Social Justice issues instead of the much bigger issues facing the country.

The ash heap of history is littered with the ruins of empires. Most show evidence of great destruction, burning, many skeletons.

So yah, history is full of rebellion, too.

It's a good quote to digest, what do you think he means?

The tree of liberty is already in growth as he said this I would assume, it would also seem the tree is picky on it's nourishment.

Did he mean tyrants of home or abroad? Maybe both?

I'd like to think he chose his words well, a patriot isn't a patriot if he is defending the liberty of foreign people on foreign soil.

He could also have meant something about peace and the fatness it offers for all, how those who feed more than they should will always be opposed by real patriots who have a belief in the idea of liberty and freedom. As it stands I say the tree needs a good watering, we have many ways to have our chain yanked and the shackles we wear are not exactly new either but that's a whole different thread about governmental power and how inalienable human rights are national or universal.

Or it could mean kill the politicians though he kind of was one himself...

I do not believe for a second the government is afraid of us.

They are most certainly afraid people. Completely surrounded by armored limos, heavily armed security, castle fortresses, over head air support, military waiting nearby.

If they had to walk down a regular street in public, they would cringe with fright.

I know it seems like they are normal, amiable, waving and smiling... under very rigidly controlled circumstances.

Afraid or Prepared? That's where I am coming from. They damn sure are afraid of someone getting to them. But you have to admit, they created and engineered the whole divisive state we are in. So yea, they are afraid but only because you never know when someone can slip thru a crack of their prepared defense. People who create problems for others should always expect retaliation for their dirty deeds.

They know they are responsible for mass death and destruction, nowadays in never before heard of scale. They know what will happen to them if they are not sequestered from the public at large.

The total security state supports and defends the greedy, the control freaks, the narcissistic rulers, they very definitely are afraid of what might happen to them, if caught out in the open.

The (state controlled) media will tell everyone its only the crazed lone wolf fanatics out there that pose any threat. The whole world knows better who is behind the latest round of empire building. Sooner or later they will ally against US, and then we'll see some real sparks.

I don't think Gen. X or Millennial's even know what real Liberty is. The Boomers are likely the last to taste it.

Ok... I really didn't wanna rant, but this is something I think about everyday.

First, I know we live in a very different time then the leaders of old but the foundations of witch this country was built on should always stay the same.

We need to take off the blindfolds and really understand what is going on. The leaders of this nation are just handing down power to family and friends, sometime that was meant to stop with the building of America. These elected officials have been living an elected life for so long that they don't know what it is like to be a american citizen.

They just give us these lies to give us hope that what they say will change things. When in all reality they are say just enough to get he vote to keep doing the same thing that they have been doing all along.

They don't know what its like living pay check to pay check, not going to the dr or the hospital because the systems are not bad enough. Working yourself into the ground in till your body doesn't work anymore, getting robbed at gun point for your pay check. Having something stolen from you that you can't afford to replace. Being Hungry. There are many other things but I will just stick to the tings I know personally. While working a 40-50 hour week and not taking the governments money.

This election- how many people feel that these two people that we now have to elect to be our next leader, feel that this is the best we can do. Most people are voting for one just so they don't have to vote for other. Its a joke.

How many time have these elected officials committed crimes and they are not in jail. But now you can get put in jail for not paying student loans.

We know that the government is arming the terrorist, we know its a fear campaign to keep us scared so that we rely on them.

We let people have to much power and that is what this country was built on. Cleaning the slate and having fresh new people come in with the experience of life to make the decisions.

I feel so lost. What can we do? I usually keep my opinions to myself but world peace is something that will never happen unless the population is substantially decreased. Or that we stop letting the company's that have all the money and the power from running this country.

Are we to believe that we can't tell the difference between a government army and a terrorist group? But we can get detailed pictures from other worlds?

We need to refresh the government. We need to stop these people that write the laws from breaking them.

We are being lied to, We are being herded into a world that soon we won't be able to change. Right now we are all sheep heading to slaughter.

This. all day this. I feel this all the time everyday to the point of despair. To the point of not even wanting to be truthful with myself and purposely avoid things that make me think of it. I just play games and purposely avoid the reality of it. because of this.. it is almost too much sometimes.

I find myself trying to be like the people I am so frustrated with, just ignore it and it will go away.

It wont. and that is sad. sad my children will grow up like this.

I just hope we can all come together before it is too late.

My question would be: Whose ideals would we follow should rebellion take place? What guarantees do we have that a new government isn't worse than what we have now? What other options do we have?

The majority of people screaming for "rebellion" tend to be angry white men that are heavily armed and hold strong beliefs that would limit womens rights and subject us all to a free-for-all society where everyone is always armed. Where one needs to carry a rifle to go grocery shopping. I have no interest in that type of world, but I'd probably have little or no say on things in such a brave new world. The people that demand bloodshed are often the ones who have been making unfounded, alarmist claims for years, and will never accept compromise. They're the ones who screamed that the government was going to take our guns. (mine are still in my gun cabinet... yours?) These people claimed that by now we would all be living in FEMA camps. (As far as I know that never happened.) These people claimed that we would all be living under Sharia law. (last I checked Sharia law was legal in exactly ZERO states) These people swore that gay marriage would destroy our society. (1+ years and counting, and my marriage is still as strong as ever.) My point is that open rebellion may sound ideal for some people, but those people are often wrong, and their refusal to tolerate any dissent leaves me anxious and uneasy.

Our government isn't perfect, and I definitely believe that changes are needed, but armed insurrection isn't always the best way of accomplishing that goal.
