The other day I made a post about something I saw on my drive home.

Since then something strange happened to me.

First, sleeping has been a little difficult. I get around 7-8 hours of sleep a night, or try to for the most part. The last couple of nights I just toss and turn or wake up to sudden flashes behind my eyes or a strange silence, as if power has been shut off.

Then, last night / early this morning startled me.
I fell asleep with a pajama dress on. My boyfriend and I got to bed around 12 because we were out at a dinner party for a wedding. The AC was on the highest setting and when I fell asleep it was very cool in the room. At some point I woke up and felt like I was laying next to a fireplace. He was about a foot from me, but it didn't feel like it was coming from him, but everything around me. I couldn't move. I was stuck laying there boiling up until I just fell back to sleep. He woke up after that and left the room, which woke me up. I pushed the blanket off of me and I had no pajamas on me. I looked around for the dress but it wasn't on the bed, under the blanket or on the floor. For the time being I just went back to sleep telling myself I'll find it once the suns up. I woke up again around 6am to go to the bathroom and realized I still had no pajamas on. When I got back from the bathroom I looked on the floor, but there was nothing there. I looked over the blanket but it was not there either. I lifted the blanket enough to check and it wasn't there. I started to panic, my heart racing. I kept getting up and looking again and again until somehow I fell asleep.

Around 8am I got up suddenly and decided to look around again and my dress was right on top of my feet, over the blanket. As if I didn't look multiple times throughout the night. One sleeve was inside out, and it was just thrown there, definitely not moved when I lifted the blanket.

At 8:15 when his alarm goes off I asked him if he knew why I hadn't been wearing the dress. He said maybe I took it off in my sleep, but has no idea how I didn't find it when I looked so much.

I should Explain that he isn't the heaviest sleeper.. none of me walking around and moving things woke him up. He did tell me that he barely slept, though. That he kept waking up feeling uncomfortable or just unable to get into a deep sleep.

I don't know what just happened last night but it's not a good feeling in my stomach. I feel nervous and anxious, especially with how the dress just appeared over the blanket after I moved it so much, and have no memory at all of taking it off. The room - once I got up to use the bathroom around 6, was an ice block I should add. I have no idea how I felt so hot that I was sweating, how my dress got off of me, how it wasn't anywhere to be found, how he didn't wake up through any of that and how it just appeared on the blanket.

It was just.. strange.

Maybe I should stop watching weird TV so much.. or maybe I'm going a little crazy.

I usually wear a tee-shirt and boxers to bed, and I have had that happen before with my shirt. Occasionally, I have awakened with my shirt off and laying on the covers, or on the floor near the bed. This usually happens when it gets hot in the room, and I'm guessing that I just yanked it off and threw it in my sleep without remembering.

In my case though, it wasn't too hard to find the shirt the next morning.

I'm guessing with me, its just a reflex or an instinct to try to cool off and I just don't remember doing it. Your case seems a bit harder to explain though.

I didn't read your other post, but the flashes behind the eyes make me think of retinal detachment, if you saw something bright and stared at it for a long time, it doesnt have to be bright even, just harmful, might have messed up your eyes. If the flashes keep happening go see an eye doctor.

On the same note, something may have scrambled up your noggin a bit, if it's harmful enough to hurt your eyes, and that could cause changes in thought, perception, and your body's homeostasis, which has a lot to do with your inner ear, and if you wake up to dead silence, a good sign something is not quite right there. (Anxiety, confusion, and hot and cold)

If this continues or gets any worse, go see a doctor, tell them you hit your head and now you feel weird and try and get a MRI or CAT scan.

Now I read your post, tough luck... definitely keep us posted.

I think you probably took it off half asleep and maybe dreamed that you we're looking or it?
Funny things happen when your brain is half asleep.

Just saying

A lot of strange occurrences happened to me recently...
The Strangeness Continues
...which included a night terror.

Do you have a link to the post you mention in the OP?

Did you get drugged for some sexual deviancy? I am asking out of all seriousness. I have been drugged at a bar before and also used to take about any drug that was around. Some substances can cause you to burn up.. Please don't take offense, but weed out possiblities.

a reply to: oblivvious

are you a diabetic? that might explain some of it.low blood sugar can cause night sweats. and didn't you say you were at a party? were you drinking alcohol? that to can cause blood sugar problems.

have you ever had problems with sleep before? Sleep Apnea, being hot / cold can be caused diabetes. also your thyroid could cause you to feel hot and be from diabetes.

as far as waking up naked, well... other than that, many people that suffering from sleep problems whether from diabetes or other reasons often can't recall doing something during the night.

and yes weird TV can cause it to.

LOL @ waking up naked in the middle of the night after a wild party. Sounds like you had a great time.

Jk.

TBH, it sounds like all the times you thought you were looking for your pajamas, were really just dreams/nightmares. You THOUGHT you were waking up and actively looking for your pajamas or whatever, when really you were still asleep. Just dreaming about looking for your pajamas. I've had similar types of nightmares before.
