Spirit Box - Hello - Oxford Castle, Oxford, England

This is video clip i filmed whilst ghost hunting at the Oxford Castle, England.

The castle is 1000 years old and the clip was filmed in a prisoners cell on a spirit box.

Would welcome your thoughts.

Its a "spirit" box..a contraption that, correct me if Im wrong, is constantly spitting out random words, static, crossed frequencies, etc...

hearing a single word, from a device that..its main function is to be spitting out words, isn't really breahttaking.

I would be more impressed if it was a full coherent sentence that was seemingly responding to questions (note plural).

OR..if it was genuinely just static, a single word from nothing could be interesting I suppose.
If you are seeking evidence, the machine itself seems a bit dodgy.

SaturnFX... I think the "spirit box" spits out white noise through hundreds of frequencies, so no background noise like smartphones, police scanners etc can interfere with its results, something along those lines lol.

Hi,

It is effectively a radio frequency scanner. It cycles through the FM or AM band and there is static or white noise between the FM channels. The words you hear on this clip seemed to come across several frequencies as it scanned.

This device doesnt spit out random words like say the Alice box does. Its a radio essentially.

We were in a prison cell that had very thick walls.

In my experience Hello, or Hi must be a relatively easy word for Spirits to manipulate. I record my Sleep and thats one of the most common EVPs I get.

This is what I mean/

Note this is one of my own personal collection of EVPs. Notice how I respond to it almost immediately after it says Hey I do a huge a Sleep Moan then it says hi.

They say the same phrase twice within 4 seconds of each other.

Never heard of a spirit box before, is that what's making all that noise?

HI.

Spirit box is a great tool. Bit noisy but they are great and have had other successful sessions. Paranormal-X have a youtube page with some great stuff on. Check them out.

Glad you heard the womans voice. It was recorded in a cell in the old castle and the walls are extremely thick
