Excellent point.

*extremely subtle* Beyond ghost-like.

While at the same time, capable of leaving physical traces or even killing people once in a while.

Hello Anaana. Sorry I don't know of any official reports made on RAF 'gremlins'. To add a bit of synchronicity to the thread there is actually a neat article (also) on Mysterious Universe on the topic.

The Real Gremlins of WWII by Brent Swancer

It would probably make an interesting thread on here if someone wanted to dig deeper into the topic and take up the challenge!

No worries mirageman, I only 'learned' about the Gremlins from John Allegro's The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross, he mentions them, in passing, in relation to a phenomenon that Pliny describes (and from which Allegro was quoting) as occuring on ships. Haven't delved much farther, just wondered if anyone else had.

I'd certainly be interested in a thread on the subject, particularly from a 'technical' perspective.

Maybe our awareness is just a procedurally generated reality, and our true bodies are in cryogenic stasis on board a colony ship, or we're all stored inside a data core because our civilization is so ancient its parent star went super nova and we escaped by downloading into a computer.

By slowing or speeding up the frame rate of perception we could literally be far older as a sentient entity than we realize, living lives and having the memories of them wiped at the end, only to start over and over again.

And the aliens?

Something that we decided to add to the program between restarting the next procedurally generated life experience.

I think its time for sleep now. I'll show myself out....

This thread is about him, so it wouldn't hurt to do discuss Tom!

Dude,

We are like a bunch of people in a lobby waiting for something to happen, and we are going to be here a long time.

I think it's okay to chat while we are waiting.

I for one do not appreciate your constant and silly admonishments to stay on-topic.

Tom's bull# covers it all, so it's all on-topic.

Here, this was posted on BuzzFeed in the last 24 hrs:

Have you seen that?

Well here's a clip of Tom on another planet.

This video is because we aren't just the Only Ones watching all of this? Even though they made a better job of it all back in the day.

2014, not really new.
I heard he seems to be open to get Blink 182 back together. Since his Podesta connection won't be getting him anywhere, maybe? Crap merch not selling as good as expected? Being a gouvernment private pr guy doesn't pay?
Just speculation.

I don't like mentioning about being on or off topic. In fact i hate it.

But i can easily enter someone's 50 post thread and add 75 off topic posts. I've been admonished about that many times.

But whatever...

Yeah sorry, I meant to say that BuzzFeed re-posted it.

The thing I don't understand about the Podesta thing is this (please excuse me if someone has already mentioned it on some Podesta-thread):

Remember those "FBI UFO Files" from a few years ago that everyone got all excited about and pored over for weeks?

It was obvious after things settled down that it was just a collection of every crazy piece of mail that had ever been sent to them. And who cares what project involved documenting it all, it was just a load of crazy mail.

Same crap with Podesta: Everyone sent him their crazy mail and ideas, and I still can't understand how I am supposed to take that seriously, even if he (Podesta) still had a job.

Sure, it may impact Tom's thing, but I think the nature of all of those missives needs to be stated: Crazy Mail. Like Podesta's own Crazy-Mail Thread.

To be honest even when things settle down after a story has been debunked someone else then drags things up again.

A case in point is the Hottel Memo - Debunked! The FBI alien bodies memo – A case study in the reinvention of the wheel. It's been regurgitated as proof of aliens at Roswell for decades.

The MJ12 (& SOM-1) documents saga never quite dies. I've heard SERPO brought back up again recently.. Jonathan Reed's 'alien in the woods' story was revived again a few years ago. I fully expect someone to take another look at the Roswell slides sometime in the future claiming some kind of new angle that makes the story genuine.

And as for those two pillars upon which ufology now stands "Roswell and Rendlesham"; they are so far removed from the origins of both stories that they have become nothing more than modern mythology.

We keep getting fed a scrap and then some crap....it all gets recycled and we start all over again.

I've never understood that. Anyone who researches the phenomena, even casually, knows there are many reports or incidents as good, and many even better than Roswell/Rendlesham etc.

I do watch some of the cheesy UFO shows on TV, and they rarely stray off the beaten path. Same with most of the internet (ATS one of the notable exceptions)

Thank you kindly for remembering. That is precisely the story from the batch that I was hoping that I could remember. I believe that ATS gives us that collective power of long-memory and it helps to inoculate us against repeat infection. They can keep spinning all they like, we'll unravel it again.

We keep getting fed a scrap and then some crap....it all gets recycled and we start all over again.

I know, but look: I haven't wanted to bring this up because it causes me to step in to all sorts of ATSian bear traps. Besides all those brear-traps, I feel like I'm being cocky when I think of posting what I'm gonna say, and if there is one thing that I have learned at ATS in this intense period of change since the Jerusalem UFO, it's that when I get cocky I often get slammed. But here-goes anyways:

You know there has been some talk lately around town about Hillary having been artificially focused on the term “UAP” by her handlers.

There's sites saying # like, “ Does Hillary Clinton Read XXXX (Our Website)?”.

Look, we, you and I and Kev and Anaana, TheGUT, Springer and Kit Green and everyone else here are responsible for that. We, ATS, changed-the-language on that one.

I'm going to pull up short right there. We are very influential.

There is no way we won't see them coming.

We are Doty-Proof.

And as for those two pillars upon which ufology now stands...

I am pretty sure that the The Burroughs Saga and “The Kit Green Post” have changed things. We just don't know exactly how yet because we haven't gotten any real help with his post (Kevin? Aren't you some sort of physicist?). When everything about Kit's post is taken in to account, we aren't left with many options as to what was happening out there. I mean, the guy apologized.

As far as Roswell? They were hiding military projects. I'm pretty sure that ATS at least is done with that one.

Thank you for talking it through.

To be 100% clear, I worked as a nuclear engineroom supervisor for 7 years.
I had a healthy dose of physics and other sciences, but I'm not a real
scientist, just like I'm not a real shaman (I don't really serve a community
directly). In fact, per "The Magus" I'm not really "real" at all, but I've gotten
used to it.

As for KG and JB;

Well KG is part owner of ATS and also had worked for the CIA; so I imagine
he has very valid reasons for his level of participation and information
sharing.

I'd also say, that just because someone understands and sympathizes
about ionizing radiation (like gammas) and non-ionizing radiation
(like microwaves) [really just can the radiation rip an electron away
to form an ion --- it's nothing mysterious]

that doesn't mean they are "in the know" about the exact physical
process/circumstance which was involved.

Oh sure, there are groups playing with radiation of various sorts..
with plasma and various things.. but I'd really agree that overall
most people, government or otherwise are not that well informed
about "what's really going on".

So basically pimping his stuff, not much on the Sekret Machines thing in the padt week except offering preorders on another book by Hartley, which I don't believe is part of his project

Yeh the Anti-Doty....
.(sorry I've used that one somewhere before).

Maybe things have changed? Maybe they haven't?

Rendlesham has gone a bit quiet since the Penniston 'binary code co-ordinates' appeared to be lifted from a website and Larry Warren's credibility was shredded to pieces. The basic story of lights in the woods remains but the later add-ons have to be heavily questioned.

As for Roswell I think it's easy to conclude there was some kind of military cover-up in early July of 1947 but impossible to prove what was behind it all. Yet it remains the 'one' UFO case that is known by a majority of people across the globe.

Tom has as much as said there really was a crash and aliens. I wonder if he's ever studied it in detail or just been told that?

Poor Tom, I suspect someone just dusted off the old 45 inch ‘Falcon.’ record and is playing it again. New media methods and personalities are put forward, but the song is roughly the same.

I said a few pages back :

They are dipping their toes into water to test the temperature to see if they can try sell their culpability as heroism. If the reaction is 'string them up' they can claim "it's a crazy kid selling fantasy stories".

I read a couple of days ago an article that pretty much echoes my thoughts on the naughty UFO shadow govt and their manipulations of public perception and disinformation on the phenomena and their motivations with TDL.
Have a read of the article if you have a few minutes, Part one and two (part two is more interesting) linked below.
The author likely read this thread and others by The Gut and MM etc right here on ATS

The US government’s formal efforts to manage public perception of UFOs traces back to the early-1950s when the CIA-sponsored Robertson Panel instigated a UFO “debunking” campaign employing the talents of psychiatrists, astronomers, and celebrities. In its early years, official power structures appeared to follow the Robertson Panel’s recommendations to the letter, using both factual and entertainment media to “debunk and demystify” UFOs whenever the opportunity presented itself.

DeLonge ecstatically captioned the video as follows: “LAST NIGHT UFO IN SAN DIEGO!! Hahaah yes!! My wife and I followed it for 30 min, a fleet of cars were pulled over watching it with us. Some said they were watching it for an hour. It was 2 sets of lights, going in and out and popping up in different locations. Standard # if you read about this stuff… HAHHA YES I WAS THERE. Does anyone know how happy I am!!??”

He said all the other cars were pulled over, where is their footage if they were filming for an hour?

So his first sighting wasn't with the big wigs showing him an actual craft or military media proof? ....

Zazz, I know, I thought the very same thing. San Diego is, like, the best place ever to vacation if you love to see weird # in the sky; and it's all military.

I love it. Even during the day the display of hardware is spectacular, particularly near the beach.

The reason I give him a break on the "bunch of cars pulled over" thing is because I have been there too, pulled over on the side of the road watching something in the sky with a many cars pulling up behind me to watch as well.

So, I cut him some slack because I know how it is to want so badly and to be pulled over on the side of the road. We gotta cut the kid a little slack for being of our ilk.

San Diego is just gorgeous.

I'd cut him some slack if he wasn't claiming to hold the holy grail of UFO disclosure that may affect how we common nutters are viewed in the future
