Not saying the OP story has any validity at all. But lately on TV, on some channels, there has been a spate of emergency food commercials. Like last night I was channel surfing and saw someone hawking emergency packaged meals on QVC. Also on another cable news show I saw a 'well known survivalist' (on the commercial scroll, I can't even recall his name, never heard of him). I have seen more of these commercials on the past week than I have in the previous ten years. Just sayin'.

Is it bad that at first I was like sweet we won't have to deal with this election. Then I saw an infowars link and was like oh well I guess we do have to see this election...

So the US elections could be cancelled because an asteroid failed to hit the Earth over a week ago

What next? Cancel them due to the outbreak of WW2 in 1939?
