So I know our American cousins are worried about their 2nd amendment rights and all that, not that im going there!

But does this not worry people more? Trump questions NY suspect's medical care www.bbc.co.uk...

He says:

"He will be taken care of by some of the best doctors in the world,"

Mr Trump decried Mr Rahami's treatment for gunshot wounds and his legal representation

So he is suggesting he shouldn't be treated, or have legal representation? These are pillars of every civilized society! The implication is that he is guilty by Mr Trumps judgement. Unless im wrong is not the case that everyone is innocent until proven guilty by a jury?

Its who he is! So are alot of his supporters.

Caring and rendering aid to your enemy is being a bigger person, this is absent in The Donald.

This is also a Great American Value, its apart of who we are.

No, Trump is half right, he is guilty.

But everything else is just totalitarian BS, folks, believe me.
I know all the best totalitarian regimes, they're not politically correct, folks...
They get things done, believe me.

Hillary, is that you? It's 'basket' of supporters, not 'alot' of his supporters. That's great you have a read on 'alot' of supporters and paint with a broad brush.

The law says innocent until proven guilty, but the reality is that you're innocent until an armed thug that happens to be on the payroll (with a badge, as opposed to without one) decides you're potentially scary.
Or if a certain rich family of the elite sends boogymen after you in the dark.

The laws are surprisingly flexible when it comes to punishment.

We were just saying this at our house. The man cries second amendment and then in the same breath says take away this guys basic right to legal representation.
Also deprive him meals.
So bread and water, no trial. Just take him out to the nearest tree and lynch em.

I mean does this jackal even have a clue?

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Uh, I read the article and couldn't find where Trump specifically said he shouldn't be treated. Please supply that quote from the source you provided. Thanks in advance.

you think the terrorist should get a medal?

Of course the terrorist should be treated, water boarding only works if the person is alive.

If the hospital is full of injured people from the bomb a Muslim Extremist made and used . Are you saying you think the Muslim Extremist who is responsible for all of the people in the hospital should be treated before the innocent people that he inflicted harm on?

IT's crazy to think that some Trump supporters want innocent people to get the best medical care before someone who tried to blow up as many people as he could.

Criminals, whether they are Muslim, Christian, etc, have rights as well. It's important that we recognize those rights or we set a very bad precedent.

Yea. I find Trump questioning this man's right to due process to be very alarming. Trump seems to also be a fan of convicting someone through the court of public opinion.

“His case will go through the various court systems for years. And in the end, people will forget, and his punishment won’t be what it once would have been,” Trump said. “What a sad situation.” (Source)

Yes Donald, because guilty people's sentences are TOTALLY determined by how interested the public is with the trial...

Rahami had a shoot out with the cops, screw him. He shouldn't be using so much as one cent of taxpayer supported medical services, PERIOD.

You got a source for this claim?

Also, if true, I'm SURE there are other hospitals he could be taken to in New York. Not all of them should be booked up due to this incident.

The Constitution disagrees with you. It says something about "cruel and unusual punishment", "right to a speedy trial", and "innocent until proven guilty".
