Common Sense or Just Dense

Hard to admit we were all played for fools,
They have all the money and all the tools;

We begged them to take away our freedom,
Give us "Shock and AWE! we said never looking back;

Until we realized it was all a big bunch of lies
And started protesting with resounding cries;

Give us our freedom back we say,
Not tomorrow but Today;

We lost our minds with temporary insanity,
Common sense has finally prevailed,
the denseness has been curtailed;

How can we deny the truth when there exist so much proof?
No more crying about the lying, get busy living or get busy dying.
