What is the difference between a capitalist minarchist and an american libertarian?

What is the difference between a capitalist minarchist,an American libertarian and a classical liberal?

Shouldn't all American libertarians be called minarchists? Is that a more extreme form of liberalism?

I mean technically we are minarchists if we believe in bare minimum government. Correct?

Seriously.Is there a real difference?

I'm no expert, but I would say there isn't much difference, if any.

Technically speaking, the Libertarian party was formed and defined by Rothbard in "For a New Liberty" and it strives for anarchocapitalism. This is why Johnson/Weld is such a laughable ticket.

However, the libertarian tent is wide and includes pretty much all individualists (where else would we go?). Most of us are still constitutional republicans (minarchists) as the great experiment is still underway.

The increasing use of 'classical liberal' is just our attempt to regain the original definition of liberal which is simply the advocacy of free trade and non-intervention.
