The very movements of the balloon when the truck passes by is what gives it away as a helium filled object. There are close up shots that have been cleaned up and less pixelated that make it obvious its a balloon especially when you see the side-by-side comparison w/ the bugs bunny balloon image. I want to believe as much as you do if not more, but i agree with the debunkers on this one, bud.

i still think about this case often, i'm still extremely interested in it and have a very hard time reconciling the balloon explanation. If there's an obvious undeniable debunk i'd kinda rather see it than just be told things like "let it go buddy".
surely this is a fair ask from someone so certain.

Because of several things exhibited such as small stature apparent walking and running motion as well as flight... But most interesting to me is the speed with which it crossed the road without flying...

first, why are the videos in this thread nowhere near the quality of that screenshot?
where can we get the better quality video that was grabbed from?
If this is true and it IS a balloon, how then do we explain what we can see happening in the video?
it's not in the nature of balloons to hover along the ground - they go up, or they get thrown around by the wind, or they lay down. So.... these hoaxers, what, set up lines to pull the balloon along? for hundreds of meters, along and across a busy road? down past the service station, where they set up some big sort of loop the loop as a finishing touch?

Well.. the specifics may matter to some, but case-closed on this. It's not "pretty convincing," it is irrefutable proof. That looks like it is the identical balloon you are seeing.

And I've seen video of balloon just skirting along the ground. It has just enough helium to be upright.. the wind can shift it round, and it just barely touches the ground. So I don't think it's even hoaxers having to pull of something tricky.
