Nasty story here. Is she really laughing about it? There have been suggestions the soundtrack has been altered. The image of an injured girl is said to be someone else. Perhaps the audio has been altered. What do you think?

she didnt laugh about the case, did not volunteer for the case, didnt claim the defendant made the story up, nor did she set him free.
she did get a plea bargain and, years later laughed how this case had "forever destroyed her faith" in polygraph testing.

while i'm on snopes, trump didn't say he will be more popular than fried chicken or water melons to black voters.

The woman is crazy and her supporters aren't living in reality. To believe a word she says is not even reality to me. Its like voting for the Lochtke swimmer and pretending his stories are true.

ya she did, time served prior to conviction doesn't count, snopes as usual using any technicality it can reach for in attempt to defend the left. this behavior from snopes is well discussed and documented on this site.

She was laughing at the absurdity of the system. In particular polygraph testing which was actually considered reliable back then.
