I decided to research more on George Soros, his family members (his son Alex Soros apparently wants to take over his father's plans once he is gone), but as I researched more I decided first to focus on his early beginnings. How did he come to be the person we hear about today?

Well, my research (mainly from the website Investopia) was eye-opening to say the least. Here are my notes, along with some quotes from Investopia:

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

-Enrolled in London School of Economics in 1947, studied at the feet of Karl Popper.

-1951 graduated with a bachelor of science in philosophy.

-1954 graduated with a doctorate in philosophy.

“Like many people with philosophy degrees, Soros found it hard to get a job. He worked as a traveling salesman along the Welsh coast. At loose ends and depressed, Soros began writing letters systematically to managing directors at merchant banks across London. Most didn’t respond, but one letter landed on the desk of a fellow Hungarian, a managing director at Singer & Friedlander. He offered Soros an entry-level position.”

Quote and information can be found here: www.investopedia.com...

-1954 begins working as a clerk at London-based merchant bank, Singer & Friedlander

-Promoted to arbitrage department, before a colleague, Robert Mayer recommends Soros for a position with his father’s firm, F.M. Mayer, as an arbitrage trader.

-There, Soros worked in European stocks when the creation of the Coal & Steel Community (later known as the Common Market) was making those stocks popular with US investors.

-1959 - Soros built a reputation in this specialized field, and began working at Wertheim & Co. as an analyst of European securities.

-While working at Wertheim & Co., Soros plans were to save $500,000 to get back to England to comfortably study philosophy.

-At Wertheim & Co., Soros develops a theory called “reflexivity”. This is an interesting bit:

Soros’ concept was that self-awareness is part of any given environment. That meant the act of creating a valuation in any market would necessarily be reflected in the actions of market participants, creating a virtuous or vicious cycle within the market. Likewise, any prediction could alter how financial actors behave to make a false statement become true, or vice versa. Soros could see that the idea had applications beyond philosophy.

hmm

This new “discovery” led Soros to apparently have an advantage as an analyst and then as a hedge fund manager (today he is reportedly the richest hedge fund manager in the world). Later on (after putting this idea into play for his benefit I'm sure), Soros would share this “reflexivity” idea with others and is now an author of something like 12 books, thinks of himself in the likes of “God”, (he has some very disturbing quotes on that topic if you are curious about that).

Info and quote can be found here: www.investopedia.com...

After reading about his idea of reflexivity, it is glaringly obvious that he has used this principle, and his wealth and resources, to affect policies, international relations, etc. behind the scenes and in nefarious ways for his benefit.

He has said he found the events of 9/11 to be inspiring...

"Hijacking fully fueled airliners and using them as suicide bombs was an audacious idea, and its execution could not have been more spectacular." (George Soros, “The Bubble Of American Supremacy,” The Atlantic Monthly, 12/03)

Good little write up on Soros. Thanks for posting. I always knew (overall) who he was but never got around to the finer details.

I gather you came to the conclusion as me that he is a prized asshole of the highest order, hell bent on the destruction of the lives of the little people whilst he molds his and Kissingers vision of a wonderful New World Order.

That's where you work, forever, gaining perpetual debt through the acquisition of dust collecting things because the TV says thats the awesome way to live.

Then you die.

The End.

True Story.

Been keeping up with the movements of this evil man, as much as one can, for years. He is more frightening to me than Hitler. He runs this world as most are never aware or think about him. Again, where is 007 when we need him?

Pretty much the same conclusion I have come to.

One thing to note, that I wasn't aware of (at least according to the "official" narrative of his background), is that he apparently is self-made and did not come into his wealth or influence from being born.

He may have even had aspirations to help others and be a voice for the underdog, considering how he grew up amidst WW2, persecution of Jewish people, etc. However if that was his original intention, something changed.

He built his wealth and made decisions to network, garnering support for "philanthropic" causes (which look good on paper, but have ulterior motives), and he seems to be on a WarPath for his "purpose". Seeing himself as some sort of God certainly lets him justify any of his decisions, since what he is doing is "divine".

It goes to show me that, no matter who you are or what your circumstances are, anyone can have a "switch" flipped and the need or potential for power can corrupt one's spirit. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

It's in our human nature, but our societal framework also makes it even easier for people to fall victim to that mentality.

I need to look at myself in the mirror everyday and ask myself questions, make sure I don't let my own beliefs or perceptions allow me to justify decisions that will harm others simply for my own benefit.

This is the most important epiphany I have had as a result of researching Soros' becoming and his goals for the globe. We all need to watch out for the Soros that might be lurking somewhere deep in our psyche.

I had the strange feeling that when he bet that the German bank would collapse it was more hopeful self-fulfilling prophecy than actual prediction.

Like when the Rockefellers started rumors that banks were insolvent to buy them on the cheap.

Nice observation. Soros has a vested interest in watching EU break apart, providing tons of opportunities for him to accumulate more power and wealth.

His son posts cryptic messages on Instagram about "which of these flags will be the next to fall?" hmmmm

The man behind the curtain (or his successors) doesn't seem to be taking a day off...

I am wondering is there can be any links between Fethullah Gülen and Soros ? Surely these 2 powerful figures paths must have crossed ! They both have a educational base working behind the scenes .

InvestmentWatchBlog has talked about the two of them before, I'm can't recall exactly what I read but it seemed like speculation.

I think they are both after some of the same pieces of pie though: foreignpolicynews.org...

This evil demon is scarier than any American-politician or otherwise. He's an example of the good die young. He's been very successful in keeping his name away from the average person. He's controlling it all-you can bet the Clintons bow down to him and know him very well-he's the only person they' are afraid of and as long as they do what Soros says everything is ok.

And what about Trump? He knows this guy well-where does he fit in this picture? Trump has a huge ego but nowhere near Soros.

If I were Trump I'd be very careful-but he's acting like nothing matters what he says.. Can Trump have that much power or just ego? Or is there something else going on we don't know about? I can't think of anyone as powerful as Soros for Trump-or is this just one big circle?

Anyone know anything-quid pro quo going on somehow?

Thanks for that link . It is a good read and to be honest , very believable as to the extent they are both a part of Albania's situation . In considering their MO it should not be hard to draw parallels to explain what we are seeing in the west .

Movies, books, theaters, many legends that are created carefully in order to glorify Fetullah Gülen and his philosophy while creating an un-curable mafia, with terrible consequences. Contrary to Soros’ army who has come out open to the public, the former are cohabitating with us in a silent fashion, while consoling us, kidnapping our hearts, while educating our kids to their institutions and employing many of us in their organizations. Already many of us, even without knowing it, are working for us because Albania has become the backyard of George Soros and Fetullah Gülen, whose employees not only have complete control on every institution from top to bottom, but now they are embracing policies that are against the public’s interest and are only in favor of the two magnates. Just like anything else, politics in Albania has become a circus that is designed only to withdraw attention, to spent time and to notarize economic statecraft of the two emperors and the unscrupulous tearing apart of Albania and Albanians. There are no more leftists and rightists. There are actors, who continue to maintain the traditional democratic façade, but Albania is under the complete control of these two billionaires and the remaining crumbs are for grabs by other little emperors.

Quid pro quo is the name of the game! It's all about "favors" and promises. There are of course tangible transactions going on with wealth and resources as well, but these figures are in the game of Chess and war strategies. It's about knowing what other people want or how they will react, and staying 10+ steps ahead of them in your strategy-making.

For a man with a doctorate in Philosophy he lacks ethics.

Looks like George used his logic for destruction, instead of constructive world wide events.

He's in for the game of making money, and gaining more influence. He believes "he" is more fit to make decisions and affect the world on a grand scale, than anyone else. It's also worrisome that his son Alex is on a warpath to follow in his father's footsteps and continue the legacy.
