He's going in to provide Intel on radicalised inmates the same way Abu Hamza did.

I hope he doesn't die from natural causes via gunshot wound to back of head during a car crash on its way to the clink.

That'd be a shame innit?

He should also be charged with aggravated oxygen theft with intention to share.

Well I hope the British don`t release him early out of fear that he maybe more radicalised in jail, as per NSW just did...

Ahmed Elomar: Brother of IS jihadist Mohammed Elomar released on parole

Offender remains untreated, threat to community: Minister
Corrections Minister David Elliott said he was "bitterly disappointed by today's Supreme Court decision".

"As far as the people of New South Wales are concerned, people like Elomar who beat cops and are convicted for it should serve time in jail."

During submissions to the parole board to keep Elomar behind bars, Mr Severin said the prisoner was part of a group of inmates who administered Sharia law in a part of Goulburn jail dubbed the Middle Eastern courtyard.

He also suggested Elomar viewed his terrorist brother Mohammed Elomar, who died in Syria fighting for IS last year, to be a "martyr".

The June hearing also heard Elomar was part of a group of inmates who spoke of beheading someone in September 2015.

But the parole authority found it was appropriate to release Elmoar "in the public interest" because he had been confined in the presence of radicalised inmates that may influence him.

Anjem Choudary was public and loud who would have a wide fan base over different countries, but he is just one of many that share his same beliefs. I`ve listened to him quite a bit and he isn`t stating things that aren`t Quran based. That's the real concerning thing.

The problem is not that he got 10 years imprisonment, the problem is that it took so much time for the country and courts to do it. They should've chucked this fella out of the country long time ago to his beloved ISIS in Syria or Iraq. I believe the sentencing was detrimental to the security of the country. If he is released in general prison he might radicalise fellow inmates and when he is released he will be back on the streets.

Two point...

1. He has not been sentenced yet, so not sure where the ten years comes in. He has been found guilty, but not sentenced. That'll be September.
2. It too "so much time" because: (a) In the UK people cannot be arrested for an opinion that falls outside the narrow "hate speech" angle, regardless of how objectionable, and (b) He's a clever man and knows the law. It may seem prolonged, but rather that than locking people up for thinking. The UK is not the Caliphate.

He swore a oath of allegience and is now facing serious jail time. ?

Has he actually committed any sort of crime other than the crime of talking #e.

Sedition.

He was providing aid and support to a group that is a enemy of the UK.

Maybe when you Scots leave we can send all thne hate precahers and ISIS wannabes to live in your little European uptopia ? Sound like a deal?

Little Utopia.? Here's Scotland from space. Not the one the BBC has you believe is "Little". Now do i need to point out the borders of Scotland and Wales for you or can you work them out yourself.?

Except if you leave the UK to join the EU you won't have a choice!

Germany will be the ones setting the immigration terms of a "independent " Scotland .

Thanks I stand corrected.

There are several examples of UK taking prompt action for infractions such as given below, then why not take prompt action who is openly promoting violence and hate speech:

There's a difference between genuine immigration and accepting Englands scum through forced deporatation.

To be fair "England's scum" is actually the "United Kingdom's scum". Scotland has its own radical Muslims, e.g. Habib ur Rehman and issues with radicalisation, just like England and Wales.

Choudary has been jailed for five-and-a-half years , he will serve just half of that due to our crazy justice system.
