Phew, I got a lot to catch-up on!

I'm pleased to report that for the most part my "illness" (if you can call it that) seems to be going away - So far, each day I've gotten a bit more energy back. Almost back to my usual cheery self

It was rough yesterday - I missed the funnel clouds that were spotted East of me, but I got a lot of rain. Went shopping after work, only to find that my faithful car wouldn't start (battery finally gave out on me). And, almost as if on cue, as soon as the tow truck arrived the car magically pulled a fast one and started fine.

Well, we get it towed, and I just happen to find the last overnight envelop (where you leave your keys). I'll need to eat ramen for a couple weeks, but it'll pay for the car repairs (got a lot of stuff done to it; better now than in November).

How's everyone been?

Sorry to hear about your car. They always seem to need something and it's never cheap! Glad you are feeling better. I had energy myself today, but tomorrow is another day. LOL

It seems never ending ... got my test for long range radio license on Monday, so doing plenty revision,
then search and rescue course followed by navigation etc.

Learning plenty and it is useful ... so happyvto be doing it.

I have 2 sisters, no Brothers. We get along great together. They both surely have read the note that little boy left for his Dad a half century ago

Hah! That is awesome. I bet he cherishes it for that reason alone. Well should you ever have the opportunity, I'm sure a few here would like to see it.

Things like that are getting rarer to find. Many possessions are briefly coveted then discarded. To have something that is worthy of handing down and with such a great story behind it. It's the stuff of legends, literally!

I have off two days!!! Which I haven't had in months.

We have Brats on the grill and the wine is flowing freely.

I am actually saying " I ain't doing Sh$t tonight.

I am letting everyone else take out the garbage, sweep the floors, cook dinner. ect.........

I am sitting back and relaxing tonight.

Have not had a chance to go back and read. Hope everyone is doing well.
