So I’m visiting family in the south west of England. Whenever I go there me and my dad like to do a bit of urban exploring so to speak. I mentioned
a place that was an old airfield which looking on google earth had some aircraft scattered around it. It use to be called RAF Predannack and was an
airfield built during the Second World War. It’s no longer an active airfield but is still owned by the MoD. It’s situated not far from RNAS
Culdrose. Anyway we had read stories of people getting on the site but being caught or warned off, so it got our interest so today we decided to
investigate. At point did we force entry onto the ground we either stepped over fallen fences or walked through open gates. On site there are a few
old SeaKing helis, a Canberra with Boscombe a Down markings, two harriers, Two Lynx helis, a Jaguar and a few other aircraft. Anyway here are my first
lot of pics that I took on my phone
The site now is used for fire and rescue crew training and with some aircraft placed on their side so crews can practise extracting persons from
crashed aircraft
Canberra
Helis
Random aircraft I don’t know
More to come once I upload my SD card
