No need to apologize I deserved karma for a comment I just made on another thread. And if I'm wrong about something I like to be corrected. It's not always so black and white though, I guess that's why we have the grey area on here.

As far as Hall goes I have only read The secret teachings as yet, but I have listened to many of the the lectures he gave in his later years. He doesn't come across as someone who would make things up, write or wrong he was getting his ideas and information from somewhere. The audio quality isn't great but they are well worth a listen for anyone interested in the general subject matter.
Here's a sample

When I say 'made them up' it was without any inside knowledge of Masonry, its rituals or symbolism. He wrote his own opinions which were not based on any type of real world interaction.

It is like having a someone try to describe a Monet without having seen it.

I wanted your opinion, I thought it was unclear, well for me it was.. Do you think he made the whole story up?

Hall was a Mason and was a 33rd. However, it should be noted that there are 33 active 33rds, but hundreds of men each year are invited to receive the 33rd (honorary).

So since this post has been about Gypsies, Hall, Freemasonry and craftmanship..

Do you believe gypsies stole the stories? Most of its heritage follows exact route with gipsy heritage, even the stories, indo-european stories and the universal folktales..

Do you believe, the history where it says, they were priests, warrior priests, princes, soldiers and slaves..
Sumerians were called blackheads..? Do you believe they were the same?

If i can actually translate a lot, and end up with the same conclusion.. Even with a biased opinion.. Does it mean im lying?
If the symbolic language has a similar nature, does it mean the gypsies copied them? If the gypsies were famous metalworkers? Or maybe their work was just fake?

Any opinions on that?

I have a nephew, a little kid, when his parents tries to talk him.. He thinks himself as a greater man if he just says;" No! "
When he still has to answer, he starts to cry.. I have no problem with that since he is a kid..
In a grown up world, if someone states something they usually explain it afterwards.. or it would be very problematic if we all just behaved like kids, dont you think?

DNA Research shows ethnic gypsies actually came from a group of diverse military people who gathered centuries ago in the Punjab region of northern India to fight Muslim invaders.

I quoted history and masons on gypsies, and you call them lyers.. I asked you to present your opinion on that.. And i got "nope"
