You should apologize to your mom & dad....They might seem odd now...wait awhile they will get odder I can assure you of that. But you will age & with age comes a certain degree of understanding. Don't expect to get the worlds greatest advice on a conspiracy theory site.......some of us on here are parents & some aren't. I guess I gave it away that I raised two kids. Never take your parents for granted.........I'm sure they don't do that to you.a reply to: lazyfortress

Your -- Roblox --- account has been compromised.

Perhaps it is time to turn your expertise into college credits so that you can move out on your own while you still know everything. You can always go back for a visit in, say, 20 years when they've gotten smarter.

I love german shepherds.

I would gently suggest to you that perhaps it might be best to find the german shepherd a new home where he can live indoors. I know that might hurt, but it may be best for him. Perhaps you and your parents can get together and agree on a different breed of dog that is smaller, easier to keep clean and doesn't shed as much and could live indoors with you.

When the weather is too cold or stormy, we put Cookie in the garage. My dog isn't abused or whatever. She loves the outdoors. My dog is always happy. We treat Cookie well, and bring her to the vet whenever she needs it.

WHY ISN'T ANYONE DEFINING WHAT THE "TALK" IS?! I want to know!

One day you'll look back on this and will wish you still had these problems. Life has a funny way of doing that.

If it's really unbearable get a job, save up some cash and go see the world.

I'm glad to hear that. I always worry about outdoor dogs because I knew one personally that was abused. He was a very sweet loving husky. We tried to get the owners to let us adopt him but they refused. I would feed him sometimes and twice had to rescue him from almost being choked by his heavy chain. It was a small town and the local cops knew the dog wasn't treated well but they weren't going to do anything about it. Things ended very badly him.

Uh... What's the "Talk"?

The adult way to refer to it is 'lay down dancing'.

Ask your dad.

Our family couldn't live without Cookie. We treat her very well. She's part of me in a way. She's my best friend in the entire world!

Now that you've said that, I'm having second thoughts. That's a negative. No can do. Sounds.. uh... inappropriate...

I don't think it was a good decision to get a dog and try to hide it. It'd never work and it isn't fair to that dog. If it isn't allowed in the house, you can't own it. Leaving a dog outside is abuse. You'll have to take it back to who you got it from. The sooner the better so it has a chance at getting a good, permanent home. I know it sucks but you have to do what's best for the dog. I know you didn't mean to hurt it and probably now know that dragging by the collar can hurt them.

As for you, I'd say if you're old enough to leave, either leave or start working hard to have the money to leave. I don't get along with my mom and the only thing that's made it better is not living with her.

I hope everything works out.

Naaaaaaah. With the volatility you attributed to your father it could be a fun conversation.

Or not.

Let me know.

What do you mean "hide it"? Cookie isn't abused. We treat Cookie very well. It was my parents' decision to make her an outside dog.

How would I get the nobel?

I'm not doing anything "ground breaking". I'm just another nerd. Don't be a smartass. It's not good for you.

At the risk of sounding like a child, "You started it!"

I empathized with your opening-post by remembering the error of my own adolescent temper-tantrums. I sought to share, with you, my greatest lesson of childhood hindsight:
• I was wrong for the vast majority of instances that I thought/felt negatively about my parents, and wish that I could have cherished them instead.

With this intimate sharing, you belittled my mourning by saying that I "need a hug".

Then, I shared my next greatest childhood lesson:
• I wasn't as smart as I thought.

With this sharing, you attempted to flex your own intellect.

I am responsible for my own actions and can not blame you for my last reply, but you can not expect respectful dialogue when you spit in my face twice.

I wish you the best in your growth, development, dreams, and endeavors.

Bro. I actually meant that you need a hug. If you were standing beside me, I would've given you one. Honest to God.
I appreciate your sharing, but I didn't mean anything negative. "Spit in your face". What?! I sincerely apologize if it seemed like that.

Why is everyone saying negative things to me?! What have I done? I've apologized. What more can I do? Dear God.

I didn't mean anything hurtful. Can we all just calm down for goodness sakes?
