If We Get Smacked ...

So several weeks ago, I got smacked with a warning, and I was wondering. Since the posts that cause us to get popped get memory holed, and the warning itself comes with a Do Not Reply U2U, if we genuinely do not remember or aren't sure what occasioned the warning ... is there a way to find out for sure so we can avoid a repeat offense?

I know the one I got popped for I made at 6ish am pre-caffeine, so I honestly had no idea what I'd said, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if some members drunk post.

So if there a way beyond ... simply seeing a blank removed for T&C note?

Any time you have a post removed, it should send a PM to you with the name of the staff member that removed the post.

Yes you can ask them why. Just keep in mind they may not be online, or may take a bit to get back to you on it.

I've only been warned a couple, two or three times, but that last I honestly could not remember what I'd even said.

I post more than anyone and if I know the thread, I know what I said. Most do. Oh and I did get my first warn in 12 years last month.

I always know what I did. Sometimes I even know when I'm doing it.

I know what I've said almost all the time, but that time I honestly couldn't remember. That's like why I got warned for whatever it was. I was likely up early and grumpy about it and took it out on someone ...
