I've seen Fantomas and Mr Bungle live a few times. They tear it down.

Queen's comeback tour--Wembley 1986 is quite spectacular. Wish youtube had better cuts of it.

I got the home video though :-P

For shows I've actually seen live...Alan Parsons Live Project was a trip

The Isle Of Wight Festival 1970 beats Woodstock hands down. The line up was incredible:-

Chicago
Family
Procul Harum
Joni Mitchell
Miles Davis
Ten Years After
Emerson Lake & Palmer
The Doors
The Who
Sly & The Family Stone
Melanie
Donovan
Free
Jethro
James Taylor
Jini Hendrix
Joan Baez
The Moody Blues
Leonard Cohen
Richie Havens
Hawkwind
Redbone
Kris Kristofferson
Mungo Jerry
Supertramp
The Groundhogs
Tony Joe White
Arrival
Lighthouse
Tiny Tim
John Sebastian
Ralph McTell
Pentangle
Taste ( Rory Gallagher )

And many other lesser Bands & Artists.

I was lucky to be there among the 600,000.

Good call on that one. Here's a modern day version of that, well, the part when they decided to turn the power off on Metallica. BTW, yeah, I was there. For the full show(be warned, it's awful audio and video quality) look up Metallica riot 7 24 88. I have trouble imagining that youthful person I once was that actually ventured into this fray. What a fool I was but I have one interesting memory from that day to be sure.

a reply to: TheSpanishArcher I made only one Metallica concert and that was in San Francisco Cow Palace. In sixty nine I also went to the big free concert staring the Stones at the race track called Altamont in the hills east of the Bay Area. The one where the Hells Angels were hired as security and paid with beer. They ended up punching out some of the Jefferson Airplane members and killed at least one person.
