then in the middle somewhere like your parents or any other killer lurking in the shadows, you will teach your kids the same lesson and the cycle will continue.
I think that was a significant part of my desire to not have children.

I think you write wonderfully, conversationally and I enjoy it. You seem to shift easily between prose and poetry

To answer your question........ My dream has been to find the love of my life and live by the water, and play guitar and grow food, and grow old, and play in the water, and help people that deserved it. That's my reality. I really can't possibly ask for more than that. I wish the same for everyone -- a simple life.

Or maybe people who think they are awake come off as assholish.

I am awake; and do not care about any random perception thereof.

But the random perception thereof might not be because they see you as a threat, like the post I was responding to stated, but because you say things like "I am awake; and do not care about any random perception thereof."

I've been also told my voice is audible chocolate, which is hilarious because it sounds weird to me. I've been told to write books, do rallies, narrations etc, part of me feels the person that told me this might have been a handler or a recruiting scout.

People that do that, are not really awake. You see when you partially wake up you need to gain perception of everything and even the small random things too.

If you partially awake and become the whole "Only my awareness and perception counts!". Then you're not really awake you're just under the egoistical illusion that you are awake. Also the whole getting rid of ego is a lie, you can't get rid of ego all you can do is tame it and wield it with responsibility

So, I want to ask you:
What was your dream?
Who was your killer?
Why did you allow them or it to kill it?
Why did you give up so easily?

I wanted to do things no one else can. To be more and rise above it all. I wanted to hit my wall and either break my fists upon it or break it down until it was dust...

I listened to the "voice of reason" and the opinions of victims in pain. I was told that I was not what they cant ever be. I lacked faith. I lacked purpose. I lacked MY reason.

Fear and loathing guised as "morality" and "good". Pain I had to aclimate to, make my virtue. Hate I was told to shun, rather than use. Love I was told to cheapen in lies and honorless ways.

I didnt, I tried their way, and found my own. I learned my truth, and to never give up. That I am built to last, and that I am something which I forged. *I can trust that and believe in that.

I have never been so resolute, and ask me tomorrow, I will be more. Only death can stop me now.

I am my souls keeper.

Thank you for your spirit.

Maybe it's just late at night for me, but I just re-read your post, and sang your lyrics.

This is your chorus:

I didnt, I tried their way, and found my own. I learned my truth, and to never give up. That I am built to last, and that I am something which I forged. *I can trust that and believe in that.

Awesome. 3/4 time. Accoustic guitar until the bridge.

I simply treat each "failure" as a lesson. So I try to figure out why I didn't succeed, stand back up, and keep moving forward.

This is the best attitude towards life and to have understanding and compassion towards everyone, while still being on guard and protecting loved ones.

Yep. I agree completely, though sometimes I screw up with it. lol

I thought failure was a baseline, normal (to be expected).

Why is failure a baseline or to be expected? I see some "failures" as everyday parts of life, like failing to win the lottery, failing to dig up a priceless relic in my Mom's garden, and failing to get a date with each attractive woman I see (
).

But I don't think failure's to be expected when I microwave a meal, put on my shoes, take a shower, drive somewhere, etc. I guess I just don't see "not getting the desired result the first time" as a bad thing, or even as an important thing unless it's a life or death situation.

So are you going to be a Dreamer or be a Killer just like all those before you?

Follow your dreams and don't sell your souls

Dreaming is fantasizing, working with unreal things. Don't feed that any attention, because it might get even hungrier and you might feed it all kinds of delusions and end up at a mental institution. Just don't give in to your imagination, let go of all your hopes and dreams, before it becomes a monster. And don't forget, it's only a small percentage of people in history who have actually made money out of their fantasies, like JRR Tolkien for example, for everyone else it leads to insanity and it should be treated before such individuals become dangerous to themselves or others around them.

Actually, you're incredibly wrong, particularly in the bolded part.

Contingency plans, image training, emergency drills and security drills, and brainstorming all involve working with imagined things & scenarios that don't actually exist. Militaries and corporations can have entire groups within them that focus exclusively on these "unreal things".

Architects & designers of all types spend almost all of their time dreaming up unreal things and then figuring out how to make them real. The job of movie producers and music producers is almost exclusively centered on taking "unreal things/concepts" and making them into real things (like movies and songs). The same goes with any person or group that's ever looked at some undeveloped land & imagined a personal or commercial use for it.

Imaginations and "dreamers" are absolutely vital to a functioning society. It actually makes me suspicious of your attempts to downplay this.

It was meant as sarcasm, the human spirit with imagination is what sets us apart from the rest of the life forms on this planet. I replied that way because I see a trend of people suggesting emotions are difficult for the majority of people and this can become something dangerous and leads to violent behavior like mass shootings, senseless killings etc. and that is justification for more power to psychiatry and the pharmaceutical industry. This has been in the making for decades and it makes me wonder if there is a relation to another saying which says human imagination is on the decline because of less musical songs, less imaginative stories (books/movies/games), more superficiality on the whole while popularity of psychiatry is on the increase. To have someone call for following one's dreams almost appears rebellious, somewhat comical because one road might lead to killing while the threadstarter meant the opposite.

To reply to the OP:
So, I want to ask you:
What was your dream?
Worldwide peace

Who was your killer?
Fear

Why did you allow them or it to kill it?
It never died, it just got postponed indefinately

Why did you give up so easily?
Who said I gave up? My long term plan is to move to the US which has the most chance of creating a viable spaceship so my future children might be able to leave this planet. Realistically chances of worldpeace are slim while chances of worldware are much higher, don't think it'll happen in my lifetime or the next couple of centuries. Might never happen, that is why leaving the planet is the best way to go.

Speaking from your point of view (naturally) does not include OTHERS so becomes a flawed bit of bias.
