or example, the Clinton Foundation selected Clayton Homes, a construction company owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, to build temporary shelters in Haiti. Buffett is an active member of the Clinton Global Initiative who has donated generously to the Clintons as well as the Clinton Foundation. The contract was supposed to be given through the normal United Nations bidding process, with the deal going to the lowest bidder who met the project’s standards. UN officials said, however, that the contract was never competitively bid for.

Clayton offered to build “hurricane-proof trailers” but what they actually delivered turned out to be a disaster. The trailers were structurally unsafe, with high levels of formaldehyde and insulation coming out of the walls. There were problems with mold and fumes. The stifling heat inside made Haitians sick and many of them abandoned the trailers because they were ill-constructed and unusable.

All part of the bilk.

Last month I happened to be speaking to a couple of doctors who spent a few months in Haiti recently.

The people didn't want money.

They wanted stores and shops. They had money, but the support the country has received neglected to provide for simple things like grocery stores.

As much as I absolutely LOATHE that traitorous, thieving, lying, corrupt, vile excuse for a human being, that creature, named Hillary Clinton...the problems in Haiti were not caused or even made worse by the Clintons and/or their evil and corrupt Clinton foundation.

The problems in Haiti existed long before the earthquake. Having done some work in/for Haiti, I can honestly say Haiti's problems are created by Haiti and only Haiti. Haiti is the most corrupt, filthy, disgusting place I have ever laid eyes upon (and I've laid eyes upon many, many, countries). The corruption in Haiti is so endemic they do not even attempt to disguise it. They have paralyzed their own economy with greed and corruption, it is a cancer which cannot be undone because it goes from top to bottom (to the extent you could even define the notion of a "bottom"). It is a limitless pit of despair.

Unemployment in Haiti exceeds 65%, and generations of Haitians do not even understand the concept of work.

I find more than a little bit of irony contained in the fact that the Clinton Foundation's greatest foray into the world of aid was to the most corrupt country on this planet. Go figure.

ETA...the stories I could tell about some of the things witnessed there would just boggle/blow most people's minds! Seriously! People just completely incapable of even helping themselves...when help was right in front of them. Just unimaginable. Though I've never been to Somalia, I can only imagine it is similar.

I know people like that right here in the middle of the country. Third generation, white, government dependent. If they do happen to get a job, they rarely last more than a week or two before they stop showing up. Their first and last paychecks are usually the same check.

I don't know that they're completely incapable of helping themselves, but they don't seem to see the need to do so.

Easy to see how the Clintons found the Haitian government easy to work with. They speak the same language.

I'm not certain she'll lose, but if she does I very much look forward to the not-afraid-of-the-Clintons-any-longer books to start coming out.

She's like the Mean Old Boss of the Trailer Park Lady writ large.

if you are using the firefox browser there is an add-on which allows you to proxy in from whatever county's IP you want so you can access region locked material.

I am confident you can find such a tool with a few moments of browsing.
