Be inspired - the Paralympics 2016

While the Rio Olympics starting in a couple of weeks have quite a bit of negative news, e.g.

- The terrible Zika virus
- The disgraceful Russian doping scandal
- The parlous economic state of Brazil

We can we can look forward to a summer of exceptional athletics and sport. The Rio Olympics will be good.

Often forgotten is the Paralympics which start in a couple of months. Be inspired by this inspirational video. Do yourself a favour and take some time to watch some athletes who are side-lined by their able-bodied peers.

Well, the criminals in Rio should have easy targets, especially chasing after wheelchairs.

Rio ... one of the worst choices possible!

And yet, there it is.

I think I may just give this one a miss.

It is the middle of winter here!
