I was watching a Mandela Effect related YouTube video, relating to the JFK assassination. (The narrator, "Esoteric Detective" was bizarre and kept saying "J...F....K", she sounded like a drone. It really freaked me out, but anyway)

What was truly freaky, however, was the footage she showed. She made it convincing that Jackie Kennedy killed him. So, I went to another YT vid of the footage to get a different perspective. It was less convincing. Now, I barely remember the footage. I've seen it before, but it was years ago and I can't say if it's different from what I remember or not. I decided to ask my mother about it, since she was obsessed with the JFK assassination.

I rushed into the living room. Deja vu hit me. It was so weird.. What triggered this deja vu, suddenly becoming aware of something I lived through before(?) was me, looking down, and her dog was laying in a position. It was familiar. Then I asked my mother, "Aren't you on the computer?" (cause she usually is). Then I looked to the TV.. and what was showing on TV, some crime news documentary, I can't explain it but I felt like I'd seen it before. In fact, I felt like I had lived that entire moment before. In a dream, or something.

But it's always the same. That chilling realization, a shiver down my back. Butterflies in my stomach. And the memory, that I had lived through that "scene" before.

I had to get it written down here before it disappears, like it always does.

I still haven't asked my mother to watch the footage to see if she experienced any "Mandela Effect", or if she thinks it looked like Jackie killed him.

I'll explain it to you. If one train meats another train in a certain railway station, Deja vu can be produced. Now, this trains does not meet every day. And you should be somehow on the same railway station as they do. Imagine of they did met all the time and you are constantly on this raiway station, life would be one constant Deja vu. Hope it helps.

Take a shower.

Meats? It used to be "meets" in my timeline

Haha, kidding.

I get your point, Andre. That is the uh "scientifically accepted" view. However, I'm not so sure.

Regardless of how unconvinced you are (which is nothing more than an argument from personal incredulity) there is no reason to suspect it was anything else other than deja vu without evidence. It sounds exactly like it.

Though I suspect by the fact you're watching a Mandela Effect YT video, you won't be inclined to believe any of this and will throw all reason out of the window to enjoy what you'd rather perceive as an exclusive and unique phenomenon.

I've seen the other posts from those folks.

Maybe you'll understand this.
There's deja-vu (we all get) and then there's "HOLY #ING DEJA-VU!"
Excuse the language but that is literally what I say when I experience it.
It's almost overwhelming at times...

I'm a big fan of the concept of essentially everything is happening at once, life is simply a succession of flowing through physical points and grouping of matter - perspective. Not because I read it, but because of things like you mentioned.

I know deja-vu very well, I'm epileptic so I get to experience it multiple times every day.
I've also frequently experienced the overwhelming "wow this can't be deja-vu, I must have seen this before" and been able to tell someone exactly what was going to happen over the next 5-10 seconds on multiple occasions.

I don't mean "oh hey a bird might fly over" but for instance one time I knew a bus was going to pull up (could easily be a guess) and explain exactly how many people were going to get off and describe each one that was going to get off of it before it arrived, as well as who from the crowd around us was going to remain and those that were going to board.

Through observation of behavior one could possibly guess who may board but I wasn't paying that much attention and there's no way in hell there was any logical explanation for knowing exactly who would be getting off of the bus considering it was out of view when the DEJA-VU struck.

Lucky guesses? Maybe. I won't completely call that impossible, just extremely improbable having experienced the situations myself.

I'm pretty confident there's more than what meets the eye in life and sometimes these extreme "deja-vu" experiences are a reminder/proof of that.

I'd continue but I'd be rambling on and on but, I believe I know what you felt.

I've been experiencing deja vus all of my life, but lately its been happening a lot. Usually it just hits me for a second, and I blink and think "Well, that was odd." The deja vu feeling disappears as quickly as it comes. But as it becomes more frequent, it lasts longer. And I can predict what's going to happen next, right before it does. Interestingly, its always seemingly unimportant, random events.

Lovely assumption about the Mandela Effect. I'm still mostly on the fence about it, however I do find a couple of things odd and I understand why some people believe in it. I do however, believe a lot of people are going overboard with it which makes it hard for me to fully commit to the belief.

And lastly, I have noticed a lot of people coming onto these boards preaching scientific reason and being condescending about it. Why go on this site in the first place? Its a forum for fringe subjects.

This is just me, but I put more faith in peoples personal accounts of strange things happening to them, than I do with the "real world" political circus that's constantly shoved down peoples throats. One could argue that there's no "empirical evidence" of strange phenomena, yet politicians and news reporters can lie, get away with not telling the "full story" and yet people still put their faith in it and fanatically support their respective "left" and "right" wings.

Scientific "fact" (that is, mass media approved science) changes as much as one changes their underwear. One week, salt is bad. The next, its good. Coffee and tea are bad for you, but then they are good. The WHO pumped out an accepted dietery food pyramid, which years later they had to redact and change.

But in any case, I'm babbling now
