Nobody knows yet whos jets are flying there, and who they are fighting or supporting

So the General Staff say they have control of the country, the Government says otherwise. I don't know, seems like all sorts is flying around at the moment

Lets hope Erdogan is deposed without it devolving into a civil war and minimal deaths.

"Martial law" is an ambiguous phrase.
There is a difference between military acting on their own (apparently Turkey), and military under civilian control (the French case).

Ugh... friends wife and my landlords wife are in Turkey right now...
