There's a good book called "Melanin: energy from light and the soul's ascent"
It talks about the scientific basis for melanin-mediated ATP (energy) production from sunlight and water, and then goes to discuss the spiritual implications of this ethereal energy source. Paracelsus, a 16th century occultist, was described as having lived "several years by taking only one half scrupule of Solar Quintessence"
Me, personally, I have felt an intense cognitive/spiritual upliftment during times of water fasting (abstaining from food, drinking water, getting sunlight). This may be the original purpose of being baptized with water, it purifies the body and opens your spiritual sensation - A release of your material anchor.
ok. I learned a long time ago that i can drain a person at a distance. Make them exhausted. Not everyone. And some can feel it.

I'm open to hearing anything. The things that have been happening, nothing surprises me anymore
I'm just seeking answers as to what is happening to me.

Is this book a product of blatantly racist Afro-centrism?
I already added it to my reading list but if this book is coloured by notions of black superiority I'm not interested.
Also, is there some legitimacy to the scientific claims in this book or is it an exercise in pseudoscience?

Doing exercise and fasting burns off the fat. But fasting alone will help use up all those waste products.

Don't need to eat until around an hour or two before sunset.
It seems like you're contradicting yourself because you talk about how we have detectors to measure these things and then you say we don't.

Photons hitting certain chemicals produce an electron flow. It's how photosynthesis and solar panels work.
I posted a science article here because I strongly believe that paranormal is just science that hasn't been fully uncovered due to lack of data, mostly because we don't have proper and reliable detectors.

Wow that is really fascinating! I heard about so-called sunworshippers amongst mystics in India who do not need to eat, but just sun themselves in the morning to get energy. It's what initially sparked my curiosity.
Then I recently read an article regarding bacteria that can obtain energy directly from electrons, which made me think the stories of the sunworshippers may somehow be plausible. The article mentioned that life is basically a flow of electrons.
