That's the problem with this whole mandela thing, it relies on human memory and I for one can admit to having a terrible memory, we usually remember important things in high detail but when it comes to little details like a line from a song/movie its easy to forget how the real original version went especially if you hear it misquoted by others. Its like singing a song and realising months later you've heard the a word wrong all that time and been singing it wrong, done that plenty of times lol

I first started using the internet at about 14-15 years old, first at school and later at home around 18 years old, I'm 34 now. I remember waaaaaayy back then that half of these so called mandela effect misquotes were on the web on pages entitled top 10 misquotes of all time or names to that effect, these included most of the movie quotes we see today as "mandela effect" and all of the misquoted bible passages. (any old folks back me up on this? lol)

On a side note verging away from misquoted lyrics...........bible passages should not be used as evidence of the mandela effect as the book itself comes in so many versions and has been changed over and over again to meet the expectations of whoever's in charge at the time so yes these quotes probably are different to how we remember

Anyway, back to songs and movies.... does anyone know where I can find old archives of webpages, google isn't very helpful today lol
I did find this from 2009 it seems to be a favourite of youtube mandela video posters saying its changed recently but I know theres the same story from an earlier date then this I just need to find it

and concoct thier fantasy " mandela effect "

i realise that some people will not accept this - because once they admit that one alledged " mandela effect " claim is flawed - then the rest are questionable too

This was an easy one to figure out. We figured it out like last week. There are different versions of the song.

Unlike the Mr Rodgers song, where to me it is wrong as all hell.

Side note. I have yet to find a version of "It's a beautiful day in THE neighborhood"..

But, in the new incarnation of Daniel Tigers Neighborhood, the song does say THE, not THIS.

I didn't grow up watching that series. So I know I didn't learn that version from Daniel Tiger.

I think the person who re wrote the song for Daniel Tiger, also thought it said "The".

reality bites

I have no investment in the mandela effect and this isn't my post. I have no idea as to whether I am right or wrong, nor do you. I have never heard, nor recall hearing that song sang without the ending, "of the world."
