I don't think you're overreacting.

I think Hillary was conditionally promised the White House for 2008 or 2016. Obama was given it first. But, she would have to work for it, as Obama did, and not sit on the promise. She would have to prove to the elite she deserves it; meet their standards, meet their challenges, meet everything thrown at her in the campaign process. Run the gauntlet. Whatever it takes.

I think Bill and Hillary have done and will do anything to assure that happens including removing or neutralizing any and all possible threats to that conditional shoe-in. Of course Obama will do what he can to help her.

Top marketing strategy:

Promote the End Result

The seed has been planted, it's up to each individual to either accept the predetermined result, or reject it and start anew.

PS. I'm Canadian, so any attempts to brush me as red/blue team are null.

Pure bit of propaganda... no question... fairly nauseating at that.

Sad cause I would wager my bottom dollar that some people in this thread saying nothing to see here would have lost heir minds if an R was inserted after the names of the key players in this puff propaganda piece.

I am no fan of Hillary Clinton but, can't we just wait a couple weeks and let Trump sling his own mud?

We have a long way to go til Nov. it's going to get ugly enough.

I think the visual and symbolic impression of Obama passing the torch to Clinton, so to speak, carries much more weight during the present climate in this country in light of all that's been transpiring and on the day she is "pardoned" by the FBI.

It's quite an impact, from my perch.

Why? Of course he's going to stump for his own party. When Reagan was the exiting president he stumped for GHWB . That's politics. She's not getting special treatment other than they're the same party.
Just another stupid reason to get outraged I guess. Y'all are going to give yourselves a coronary if ya don't calm down.

GHWB was actually Vice President at the time not a civilian candidate.

It is what sitting Presidents do in particular ones that are popular. If he did not then that would strange. As head of the party the President remains neutral during the primaries and the throws full support whomever takes the nomination. This is the way it is done.

Do you remember a little think called Iran Contra? Illegal arms sales to our enemy Iran and the profits used to pay for an illegal war in Central America. A certain candidate named George Bush was under investigation for his role in it. He refused to turn over any documents. As a dozen members of the Administration were indited and given punishments. Bush bought time by refusing to give them any documents and was then elected President and it was decided it would not be realistic to prosecute a sitting President for refusing to turn over documents. Reagan of course supported and handed the torch to Bush. Who by the way pardoned those were indited. Ah the 80s everything was bigger even the scandals. The would get a good laugh at the Email scandal.

You gave a Reagan a pass because Bush Sr. was VP. So how about Bush Jr. and McCain? You know the entire point of this thread is Obama is doing something outrages that no other President would ever do. Then someone says Reagan did it and you jump in and say Bush Sr was VP so that does not count. Now I give you Bush and McCain, which unless you can justify it ruins the entire OP. Then again you know all of this and know you can not come up with a way to make what Obama is doing and every other sitting President any different so you used what does this have to with GWHB in hopes I would wander away distracted by something else so I would not post this

It bothered me too. It smacks of her being more ordained by right than elected.

I also wondered if the Clinton campaign has to pay, at least in part, for use of Air Force One? I understand the necessary use of Air Force One for a Presidential re-election campaign, I can even understand the President obviously using it to get to a campaign event.

But Hillary hitching a ride for a photo op is a bit different.

Air Force One is whatever aircraft the President is on. If Obama were to buy a ticket for an American Airlines flight and actually board it, that plane becomes Air Force One. If he is aboard a helicopter, that helicopter becomes Air Force One. Yes, Air Force One is usually associated with that white and blue 747, but once the President is not aboard that white and blue plane, it is no longer Air Force One, wether it is on the ground or in the air.
