I said this very early on when I first started posting on here....the Bible is a book of dualities and polarities that produces those very things in people! Everyone's been arguing and killing people over this stupid book for millennial. Doesn't that tell you something about it's AUTHOR????? Well, there are a bunch of them, but I mean the spirit(s) behind the authors. There are good one's and there are evil ones. Can't you stand back and see that????

Jehovah is God a God of justice, sends Christ to earth to save people from justice that demands death.
Jehovah orchestrated many deaths as punishment for sin back in the OT, He will again when this earth wraps up, after Christ returns, after judgement day. There is only duality if you dont understand basic biblical theology.
Sadly You dont, if you think God was all brutal and bad in the first book, just wait and see whats coming in the final episode.
Those outside of Christ will suffer under the old laws

Now I dont have an issue with what you believe, its your choice

Sigh.....whatever man. You know what I spent 2004 to 2013 being for "Jehovah"?...actually, it's YHWH. There is no "J" in Hebrew. Anyway, I was called to be a "watchman" Well, "watchwoman", I guess, lol. YHWH literally spoke to me and gave me Isaiah 24. He also told me a whooooole bunch of other stuff. He's been speaking to me for a long ass time. So, you see.... I'm not some "gnosis fundy" (god, I hate freaking labels...why do Christians always label others outside of what they believe?).
But, I don't know WHAT I am. I do know this....something radical has happened to me and I feel like I've been listening to TWO different entities that both are wooing me. One is really, really, good...the other, not so much, but good at sounding good.
So, you can hang onto your Jehovah all you want. I get it. I did too, for a long time. But, when I started reading all the other things YHWH demanded, it really, really, felt wrong. It felt evil. So, if that means I'm destined for hell, right on. I will continue to do what feels right in my gut. One of those is not hurting animals, the other is treating other people with love.
And hey, according to Christianity, I can't lose my salvation anyway. (grin). So, I'm good, right? LOL.

The only thing Jesus ever said about going to the cross was that He knew they were going to kill him. He didn't say, "Believe in my death on the cross and you will be saved". NO...He said, "believe in the things I've said and taught you and DO THEM".

If it had it reversed it wouldn't exactly go toward convincing anyone in to anything now would it????

Maybe this will come as a shock to you but in order to get people to believe a lie, you have to either promise them something in return or make them fear not believing it. That quote is doing both. What else would you expect It to say???

What you should really be asking is what proof is there that they are in fact correct in that statement. Because if nobody can back it up it's BS.

I always had the same problems with Christianity. I read this book and it blew my mind. Very interesting and new views on Christian concepts. It's called "Shedding Symbols" by John Dublin. I think it's like, 2 bucks.

Wrong he also said believe 'in' him. The fruits of the spirit are good acts and we can certainly trust his teachings but those themselves don't save. Lest someone would boast that they themselves were good enough to be holy and enter into his holy presence without him. Which is not true.

Still don't agree. Here they asked him specifically what works they should do in order to have ETERNAL LIFE. Look at his answer.

John 6:27

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Which Labour will produce meat, that will be everlasting for you? For Jesus will give it to them. So they asked Jesus.

John 6:28-29
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.


Simply 'believe' in him..............NONE OTHER Anyone can do a good work but only one can save you. That is the difference.

Me I chose God, through Jesus
I know what I am and who I serve, I am no watchman, no problems with my theology, no worries about serving good spirits and bad spirits like you, no confusion
I dont have any misunderstanding of my salvation, it doesnt hinge on good feelings or bad, I experience them both

It would be great to not hurt animals and love each other but the reality is this world is broken, it doesnt work

God wants everyone to be Gnostic. Gnostic means Knows (Good God exists) or at least has knowledge of the Spiritual world.

Instead of telling everyone you do know God you tell everyone God is unknowable but it is possible to at least try.

It is better than bickering about something nobody really knows about and believing in the literalist view of the Bible which is mind boggling to me because it is not literal, not to say untrue though because it wasn't written that way except for the uneducated masses.

People who are not scared to say "Yahweh sucks ass" are called hellbound heretics and laugh because they know that person has been mind ucfkde and we are free to live in the Kingdom of God right here, right now.
