Mandela Effect Proof: Life is like a Box of Chocolates

Sad full grown men actually debate stuff like this for hours..

I saw this movie the day it came out with my then girlfriend, I must have been 13 - 14 ish and I always remember life WAS like......

Its just another misquote because IS makes more sense in this line then WAS does it gets stuck in peoples heads when they hear it misquoted by someone else, and who hasn't tried their best forest gump impression on a night out in town? I know I have and probably slured my way through the wrong quote aswel

'IS' gives it a meaning of now or coming up next (which would make the line make more sense)
'WAS' gives it the meaning of in the past, already happened (actual line but doesn't kind of make sense)

so if life WAS like a box of chocolates, what is it now? a box of peanuts? see what I mean? it makes more sense with 'IS' so people remember life IS like but its totally incorrect


You have to remember that this is forest gump, he made mistakes with his words in almost every scene as the character was depicted as 'retarded' (i hate that word but that's how they described him) so people tend to say the line in the proper English way of saying using IS instead of WAS as forest did



To all those from "a different reality" go back to where you came from, your sort aint welcome here, come here changing all our movies and stuff, how dare you!!! at least go back and kill Hitler or do something good, if all you can do is change movie lines then your all as stupid as forest gump himself and absolutely no use to use at all

They are not 2 different scenes. I am not sure what else could be called proof. Someone provides proof only to be told there is there is no proof here?

The phrase "life IS like a box of chocolates" probably got embedded in the mond, and mixed I to the scene where, if you watched the movie several time like I have, he says "mom always said life WAS like a box of chocolates...

That line was made into t shirts and saying was doesn't fit. But in the movie he's talking about what he was told so it fits in context. Much like the line that life is a bowl of cherries.

But in the video posted it shows 2 different takes of the same scene albeit at different angles.

One "life WAS like a box chocolates" the other "life IS like a box of chocolates" why different lines for the same scene ? It's actually proof that he does say "life IS like a box a chocolates" as most everybody remembers

This is the video on youtube that i get Phage Where it says PRETEND .

Yet when i went to my mothers house today and she played it on Youtube the word BEGAN was in the song , what a muppet i felt after pointing this out as it always was BEGAN to pray not PRETEND.


Strange thing is i never use Google as i do not trust them , yet when i felt like a 50s night on youtube last night what should appear in the right hand suggestion box at the side every time but the Mandela effect videos wtf , I rarely if ever watch youtube and when i do it is always music that i listen to i NEVER go hunting for Videos of anything else directly the only time i have clicked on a link lately was to watch a video of a Mig flight where somebody was taken up to its ceiling hight which some idiot labelled space at less than 120,000 and that was on ats not youtube



I will post the video from her house tomorrow but as someone brought up the term GASLIGHTING ? where people would go into someones home and shift stuff about to Confuse them maybe Google is doing the same with IP numbers , why else would i see the same video as i clicked on ats about the Mig flight but i have never clicked on a Mandela videos that i am sure of yet every time i played a song from artists such as Dean Martin , Nat King Cole Roy Orbison etc the Mandela and Mig videos were in the right hand side pane hour after hour which annoyed me .


Maybe Google is playing a game with people and are the new Gaslighters of this age , all i know is what i heard on my home pc the word at 51 seconds was PRETEND yet in another house it was as i always remembered BEGAN to pray , i replayed that bit dozens of times last night in shock as it does not sound right .

I always thought it's "life IS like a box of chocolates" and I always sing "And I BEGAN to pray" too.
Weird but I suppose when you hear it one way and always sing it or remember it said way, it's hard to admit you've been wrong for years.

I don't see any proof in the video, in the OP, for th eMandela effect. My reasons are:
+mainly because the scene is shown from 2 different angles
+the scene at the 9 minute mark is shorter.
+the second scene [at the 9 min mark] has a distorted sound - almost like pieces of random sounds put together

[side note, i was living under the impression Mandela died in prison, so i was really surprised to hear he was really ill while also going about his business, a few months before his 2013 death]
